Honestly, what a GREAT sequel!!! There were a few times that Bly got a little too repetitive, but that was super easy to look past. The characters were great, the story was enthralling, and the writing was so good! Some of the characters' one-liners, especially Donovan, had me cackling! Also, when are we getting a Donovan and Demelza spin off!?! I would read that in a heartbeat! This book was just released in early April and you don't want to miss it! Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for my digital ARC!! ❤️

Thank you to Simon Teen and NetGalley for the ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.
MARGIEEEEEE!!! This was incredible. I loved it so much. This duology has quickly skyrocketed to the top of my favorites list. Enemies to lovers? Groveling? A task that seems impossible with your ex that you still love? That is the kind of story I eat up and this was exactly that. I couldn’t get enough. I definitely ignored my responsibilities to see if they would get back together. But I’m not ruining it for anyone. You have to read it and you will not be disappointed!

Okay so this absolutely ate. I’ve been obsessed with Bly since book one and this sequel just made me love her even more. The romance with Kerrigan was everything to me and I totally screamed when it finally happened. Honestly, this book had me in a chokehold from start to finish, I wasn’t bored for a second. The squad dynamics was immaculate. Donovan is criminally underrated. I laughed, I panicked, I maybe cried a little. Margie Fuston, you’ve ruined me (in the best way)

This whole duology was amazing, but The Hallow Hunt was one of the best sequels I have ever read! I was way more invested in the characters by the second book and everything that happened either crushed me, made me kick my feet and giggle, or send me into a spiral! Margie Fuston created an epic story and crafted her world so well!

I was so excited to receive this ARC as I loved the first book so much!
The sequel to The Revenant Games picks up straight after where the first book left off; Bly winning the games, wanting to locate her sister, and facing the repercussions of her choices.
I continue to love Bly, strong, determined yet not afraid to showcase her vulnerable side. The angst and tension with Kerrigan is palpable and kept me on the edge of my seat, their banter making me laugh out loud in some places, their romance making me kick my feet in glee.
“She looked back at him, and they held each other’s stares as they held each other’s betrayals in their hearts.”
See what I mean!
Kerrigan is very much chef’s kiss, his struggles with his own emotions, especially for Bly, humanize him and we see layers to his character in this sequel.
A very solid conclusion to a very solid duology! I recommend this series to anyone who wants to read about vampires, witches, travels, tension and plot twists!
Also, a Demelza and Donovan spin-off series is very much needed please as I am not quite ready to let go of this world, yet!

I LOVED THIS. I am officially obsessed with this series. I am going to miss these characters SO much. The story, the setting, the characters, the romances, the writing was perfect. The pacing was dialed perfectly to keep you captivated and all the surprises kept me shocked. Though this world is unbelievably dangerous and pretty bleak, I enjoyed it so much. I love how much of these books take place in the mysterious woods and it honestly provides the best location for confrontations, longing and passion. HI I AM OBSESSED WITH BLY AND KERRIGAN. The way their relationship and friendship has been tested and broken and challenged is the perfect enemies to lovers story and I just loved it. Ugh I miss them.
I adore everything about this especially the ending, the way that the various connections and relationships and family ties play such important roles and how nothing is unbreakable or impossible.

REVIEW:
First off, a huge thank you to Simon Teen for sending me an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!
This is a thrilling sequel to 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝑅𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓃𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝒢𝒶𝓂𝑒𝓈. If you love books that sink their teeth into you and don’t let go, 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓌 𝐻𝓊𝓃𝓉 is exactly that. Margie Fuston delivers a dark, atmospheric fantasy filled with ancient magic, ruthless monsters, and a heroine who refuses to break.
𝒲𝑒 𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓌𝑜𝓊𝓃𝒹𝓈, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝒾𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊’𝓇𝑒 𝒶𝓁𝓌𝒶𝓎𝓈 𝓇𝓊𝓃𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔, 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓎’𝓁𝓁 𝓃𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝒶 𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓃𝒸𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓁.
𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓌 𝐻𝓊𝓃𝓉’s world-building that drips with magic. Fuston crafts a setting that feels both mythic and visceral, with lush, eerie landscapes that make you feel like you’ve stepped straight into a legend. The lore is rich, the magic is dangerous, and the stakes feel real. And the characters were dynamic and fleshed out.
I love a heroine who refuses to kneel. Bly isn’t here to play nice. She’s sharp, stubborn, and willing to risk everything for what she wants. I loved that she isn’t infallible—her struggles felt raw, and her journey hit hard.
𝐼𝓉 𝒸𝑜𝓊𝓁𝒹 𝒷𝑒 𝒶 𝓂𝒾𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑔𝒾𝓋𝑒 𝓅𝑒𝑜𝓅𝓁𝑒 𝓌𝒽𝑜 𝓈𝓉𝒾𝓁𝓁 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 𝓎𝑜𝓊, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝒾𝓉 𝓈𝑜𝓂𝑒𝒽𝑜𝓌 𝓈𝑒𝑒𝓂𝑒𝒹 𝑒𝒶𝓈𝒾𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓃 𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑔𝒾𝓋𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝒽𝑜𝓈𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒𝒹.
Now, onto my favorite part of any book I read: the romance. Though this is a Young Adult novel, the story definitely has its steamy moments between Bly and Kerrigan. Slow burn? Absolutely. Tension? Longing? Check and check. There was so much tension and yearning as they rekindled their romance. If you love your romance laced with aching desire and just a touch of we-shouldn’t-but-we-will as Kerrigan learns to trust Bly again, this book delivers.

🍂A Heroine Who Won’t Back Down
🍂Atmospheric world-building

𝐹𝒾𝓃𝒶𝓁 𝓋𝑒𝓇𝒹𝒾𝒸𝓉: 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓌 𝐻𝓊𝓃𝓉 is perfect for readers who are fans of forbidden magic, dealing with the consequences of betrayal, and slow-burn love stories that set your soul on fire, don’t sleep on this one.
Happy reading!

Harrowing, breath-taking, and superb conclusion!
Margie Fuston writes the vampire and witches we LOVE TO READ ABOUT! Returning with the Hallow Hunt and picking up immediately where The Revenant Games left offs, this story cannot be read as a standalone. However, readers should absolutely buckle in and read this series. It’s diverse, chock full of adventure, romantic, maddening, and truly un-put-downable!
Fuston excels most with her cast of characters. Bly, our heroine, possesses such uniqueness that readers might overlook her powers are first, but Hallow Hunt emphasizes her ability and what makes her stand out in a world of the paranormal! Kerrigan, Donovan, and the other cast of vampiric heroes are broody brilliance. Giving readers a hopelessly romantic glimpse into the cut-throat vampiric world. Demelza, our fearless witch, is probably my favorite side character however. She is bloodthirsty in her own ways, but her ability to rein it in made for her to be such an enjoyable character. All these characters are expertly woven together in the Hallow Hunt, showing Fuston’s excellent writing ability.
The story itself is written in a classic young adult format, so if you’re a fan, you’ll love this story. It’s edgy, and quickly paced meaning readers won’t be bored within these pages. Additionally, I enjoyed the Revenant Games, but Hallow Hunt’s plot and story is truly next level. The story is established and gives readers exactly what they have been clamoring for since the end of Revenant Games.
The end of this story is one I didn’t exactly see coming. I had some suspicions, but the twists and turns and reveals from
Fuston made sure I was always left guessing, never certain! Be sure to grab a copy of this series because you’re going to LOVE IT!

Following the events of The Revenant Games, Bly is hunting down Donovan, who has promised information on her sister so long as Bly rescues him before Kerrigan, his brother and Bly's love who she betrayed, finds and returns Halfryta, the leader of the witches in exchange for his brother. However, Bly, Kerrigan, and the gang get caught breaking more laws and are sent on a quest to get some magical roots that can turn any vampire or witch back into a human (a fate worse than death in their not-so-humble opinions). With high stakes, tension, and mistrust, can this (un)merry band of friends find the roots and save Bly?
Yes, it's messy, yes there's angst, and yes, I ate up every word. I loved this. I don't think I loved it as much as the first one, but I still loved it a lot. I appreciate that the author didn't stretch this into a three book series, as you could easily see where she could. But the ending was a wee bit rushed, and I felt like a couple of pivotal scenes were left out (i.e. after Kerrigan and Bly reunite and she gives him her blood for the first time as a reestablished couple). I overall really enjoyed this and was gagged at several points. I love Kerrigan and Bly to pieces (especially Kerrigan that's my mans fr fr) and was so honored to get an arc for this book. Happy publishing day!!
Many, many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for this e-arc in exchange for my honest review:)

Another book about games! And I was looking forward to it but this one didn't really grab me as much as I wanted it to. The characters are complex though and i really did appreciate that aspect.

The Hallow Hunt is the second book in Margie Fuston's The Revenant Games series and picks right up where the first book left off. Bly has won the games but is now facing the consequences of her choices from book one and she is still desperate to find her sister.
Overall, this book wrapped up a lot of the plot holes that was found in book one, and tied everything together nicely. The characters are well developed and the world building continues to expand in book 2. This book combines elements of suspense, romance and the supernatural wonderfully and is a great book for younger readers who love romantasy and the super natural.
Would I recommend this book? Yes, the series is a must read!
Thank you to Simon Teen and NetGalley for allowing me access to the eARC in exchange for an honest review

This is a pretty solid sequel! I enjoyed the relationships among the characters, that was definitely my favorite part. I think there was a great resolution, and I also really liked some of the new places we got to travel (keeping it vague for spoiler reasons!), I found those plots very compelling. I also liked the romance, of course, since I was into it in the first book as well. I think there were just a few too many battles for me personally, it kind of felt like "okay here we go again, another fight", but I think that may be a personal preference, and will really not be a problem for most people. Overall, I really enjoyed this series and would definitely recommend it!

Wonderful conclusion to this duology.
It picked back up right where the Revenant Games left off. I love the rawness of everyone's emotions in response to living with what the did in the games. The twist and turns is this book were heart wrenching, There was great banter. I definitely felt everything and could not put this book down. I loved the characters growing and seeing more of some of there personalities, and how the aurthor showed the human side of the some of the vampires and witches.

“She looked back at him, and they held each other’s stares as they held each other’s betrayals in their hearts.” 😭
I adored this book so much and it was a perfect conclusion to the duology! The characters are complex and the world is so rich and unique that I’m hoping this isn’t truly the end of what we get to see. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for a possible spin-off series! After reading this series, I can definitely say I’m a fan of Margie Fuston!
“I didn’t want to risk forgiving you only to have you hurt me again.”
The first half of this book tugged at my heartstrings because Bly and Kerrigan were fighting (rightfully so) and Kerrigan struggled to forgive Bly for what she did at the end of the first book! Bly had to suffer through those consequences and earn Kerrigan’s trust back. Her brief time with Callum was so difficult to endure (thank goodness it was brief), but Bly is such a strong FMC that she overcame those difficulties with Kerrigan by her side. Fair warning, this book is definitely on the darker side of YA fantasy (think Hunger Games re death/torture), but it’s so worth it!
My favorite part of this book was actually seeing Donovan and Kerrigan forgive each other and act like tight-knit brothers again! When they finally hugged things out I was crying and so happy for them.
Thank you so much to Simon Teen for an advanced copy! The Hallowed Hunt releases on April 1, so be sure to check it out! 💙

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Margie Fuston for providing me with a complimentary digital ARC for The Hallow Hunt Left coming out April 1, 2025. The honest opinions expressed in this review are my own.
I didn’t realize this was a sequel. I haven’t read any books by this author, but I really enjoyed the writing. I love vampire stories like the most people probably do. It was a little confused since I haven’t read the first book, but I think it was easy to get into the story. The characters were interesting. There were some tropes I’ve seen a lot, so I wasn’t as into those parts of the book. But I definitely want to read the first book. And I would check out more books by this author.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys vampire stories!

If you are riding that Hunger Games wave and want to stay on it, you need to be reading this series by Margie Fuston! Book one focused on the games and then this is book two which focuses on what comes after. Bly really did absolutely everything she could to save her sister in the games and now she is dealing with all of the fallout from the choices she made. The biggest of those being Kerrigan’s hatred. I started this book and probably would have finished it in one sitting if I didn’t have work, so that just tells you how good it is! Plus every scene where Donovan and Kerrigan interact has banter that reminds me of the Salvatore brothers. With this release on April 1, 2025 this duology will be complete, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if more books set in this world appeared. For now though this really is the best time to start reading!

FOUR STAR REVIEW ALERT ✨✨✨✨
“The Hallow Hunt”
By: Margie Fulton
Releasing 4/1/25 Everywhere
❤️🧡💙
Bly won the Revenant Games, but she lost everything else. With nothing left, Bly will do anything to locate her sister. Meanwhile, Kerrigan is searching for his brother Donovan, but after Bly’s treachery, he refuses her help. Kerrigan and Bly must find a way to work together if they want to keep their lives and save their siblings.
This was a wonderful conclusion to the series. We pick up right where we left off, with Bly suffering the consequences of her decisions during and after the games. It also gives us the backstory into the magical system and lore that was lacking in the first novel.
The slow burn rekindling between Bly and Kerrigan was really fun to experience as they learn to trust and understand each other.
This book tied up the plot holes and added depth to some of what was lacking in the first novel, making this an overall great duology. It was fast paced, full of twists and turns, and a lot of fun to read!
❤️🧡💙

The Hallow Hunt is a darkly enchanting adventure that grips you from the very first page. Margie Fuston weaves a tale rich with tension, magic, and emotion, pulling readers deeper into a world where danger lurks in every shadow. The writing is atmospheric and immersive, making you feel every pulse of fear, every flicker of hope. The characters are raw and compelling, their relationships layered with complexity and unspoken truths. With heart-pounding action, a touch of romance, and a hauntingly beautiful setting, this book is an unforgettable ride that will leave you breathless until the very end.

Part two of Margie Fuston’s witch/vampire/human duology was an absolute WILD RIDE from start to finish!! From shifting alliances to secret plots to rescue missions to finding new ways to coexist, this book truly took me on a journey!
We jump back in shortly after the ending of the Revenant Games, in the aftermath of Bly’s betrayal of Kerrigan and join her on her mission to still rescue her sister AND his brother too. Bly’s journey to forgiveness has her making some wild choices, fighting hard for those she loves, and brings her some new (reluctant) friends. Our human with the heart of a vampire is such a strong main character, even when she’s feeling sorry for herself, you still feel sorry for her too!
This was such a fun duology with the worlds of vampires, humans, and witches in a power struggle! Thanks so much to Margie Fuston, Simon and Schuster, and NetGalley for a chance to read this in exchange for an honest review!

This book is one of the best sequels I have ever read!! It picks up right where the first book left off and is pretty fast paced. It’s very atmospheric and full of magic, tension, and betrayal. Bly and Kerrigan’s relationship is so good. It’s full of tension and distrust. But now they have to team up together. I really love their relationship and their journey. If you like action packed fantasy books you’ll love this book!
