This super fun new science fiction book is sure to be a hit with beginning readers. The short chapter format is perfect for the younger readers exploring the new world of chapter books. The story is funny and suspenseful. Ari is just a regular kid with a scientist mom but her new problem solving strategy for their laundry is maybe a little much. She invented a TIME TRAVELING machine and she wants to use it to go back in time to when they had clean clothes and then time travel forward again to the present. What could possibly go wrong? Kids are going to love this one!

Another smashing success by Jarrett Lerner! First off, this book provides the perfect balance for beginner middle grade readers. The chapters are short, but packed with meaning, allowing young readers the opportunity to challenge themselves with the content without being overwhelmed by the length/wordiness of the chapters. Readers will laugh and gasp (often simultaneously) at the antics Ari gets himself into with his scientist mother. They wind up time traveling to save themselves from dirty laundry (totally relatable), but can they find their way back to the present?

Loved this latest book by Jarrett Lerner. Loved how he captured the challenges of being a single parent and made something so frustrating as always being behind in laundry (it does seem to multiply) funny. This was tackled with humor and compassion and of course the most ridiculous "solution" that it was just brilliant.
