My daughter absolutely loved this book. SHe loves rading about Nelly and her friends having amazing adventures. She is currently in fourth grade, and has been dealing with a lot of mean girls so it was great to read a feel good book about friendship, family and learning to love yourself. Making sure that she knew her worth through this book too.

Thank you to Netgalley for the free Arc!

What a cute concept! Nelly, a student who just finished Year 6 in England, is granted wishes. We do not find out the source of the wishes until later on in the book. Along with her two best friends, they attend a week long camp called Camp Chaos, before beginning Senior School. The wishes are a mixed bag-- sometimes fun and exciting and at other times, not realizing that they can be taken in a different way than attended. At these times, things seem to go off the rails. While it is often fun to read about the friends' adventures, at times, they became a bit too detailed which detracted from the overall story.

It is interesting to see Nelly's evolution around her thinking about what makes a wish important and valuable, especially when her number of wishes become limited.
