Just like the other books in this series, this one is a lot of fun and has beautiful artwork. A babysaurus is coming and we know what to expect--bad smells and loud screeches. But of course you know that babysaurus will win over our narrator by the end. Super fun!

My daughter owns a good chunk of these books already so being able to read this early was amazing. I can’t wait for this book to come out so I can get it for my daughter. This book is a cute, kiddish way to transition your child into becoming an older sibling!

This book is adorable! I enjoyed reading it with my kiddos. It would be a great book to read when a new baby is entering the family. It may help the transition and understanding for older siblings. Definitely ideal for 2-4 year olds!

This series is always fun to add to the store and makes great baby shower gifts!

A cute new addition to the how to catch a series, but I do think it would have been an even cuter twist if the baby had turned out to be a real baby sibling. The baby dinosaur didn’t seem to make as much sense but my 9 yr old enjoyed it.

I was so excited to receive this ARC because my family loves this series! My kiddo loves dinosaurs too so this was a fun read.

This wasn't my favorite of the "How to Catch a...." books. It was cute as the others are, but this one might be better received by families adding another sibling to their homes.

How to Catch a Babysaurus is a tremendously sweet and fun continuation of Alice Walstead's series of children's picture books. It will surely be a favorite among her devoted list of readers and followers. the illustrations are captivating and engaging-- with vividly detailed scenes of characters depicting pages of rhyming text. The young boy-- the main character of this story-- begins this book by describing how adamantly he does not want a new addition to his family. His parents do everything they can to persuade him that having a sibling will be the most wonderful adventure! How to Catch a Babysaurus is an absolute hit! Alice Walstead has created yet another imaginative and playful story with rhyming text that flows effortlessly, making it a joy to read aloud, and the vibrant illustrations are fun and engaging.

The clever traps and inventive ideas the main character came up with to catch the adorable Babysaurus kept me guessing what would happen next. It's a perfect blend of humor, adventure, and creativity. This book is a great addition to the How to Catch series!

Highly recommend for bedtime, classroom reading, or just a fun afternoon story time!

This story wasn't our favorite. Still a good, fun read, but my kiddo's reaction to it wasn't the same as the other ones. We will still follow along in this series and pick up hard copies when they are on sale! Mom's opinion, I kept waiting for babysaurus to pop out as an actual human baby. Over all, I give it a 3/5.

My students LOVED this book! We are big fans of the series of them so adding this to my class list was a no brainer for me! These are always fun to read when we have a theme week, a project to do or just need a fun read to have a s a class.

All of these books are so cute.
I think this shows perfectly what happens when an only child is about to become a big sibling. It's gonna be a distraction but you have to catch them. I know the main character is not a human but a dinosaur but it shows a sibling relationship.

This is a funny take on an older boy getting a new baby sibling. The illustrations are cute, and the story is silly. Kids will love this one.

What a great new addition to the How to Catch book series! My students will love this one. It would also be an excellent gift for a child that’s expecting a new baby sibling in their home. The introduction of the baby as a “babysaurus” will help kids relate a new family member to something most kids already love (dinosaurs!).

Our family already owns How to Catch a Daddysaurus and How to Catch a Mamasaurus along with a few other titles from Alica Walstead. Such a fun and cute book! I love how the author decided to take a familiar topic (for a lot of kids) and add a special spin on it. Combining a relatable event with *dinosaurs* is so clever, and worked really well! Additionally, it was amazing how much personality the author gave to the Babysaurus, even though readers barely see and never "hear from" the character. Lastly, I definitely give lots of credit to the illustrator for the beautiful coloring and vivid detail on each page. Bravo!!
