Effie is the last of the Strong girls to make her debut. Only participating to make her mother happy, Effie is determined not to marry. She befriends Malcolm’s sister and becomes acquainted with the aloof widower. They both try to deny the attraction. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing for my honest review.

A great way to end the Strong Family . Effie is the last Strong young Lady who is having her coming out in society and she is not very happy . She is always happy in the country , riding her horse , nursing her animals and managing the estate with her cousin . The only positive is that she will be able to see all her sisters and cousins their husbands and their childrens .and even make new friends . The first time she is going to the modiste Dumas for her wardrobe she meets the Dowager Duchess of Waterbury and her daughter Lady Ada and they became good friends . Malcolm Ware the Duke of Waterbury is a widower who lost his wife when she was giving birth to their child which also born dead . Now after two years he is looking for a wife but this time he is going to choose her and not his mother like she did the first time . While he is the chaperone for his sister and Effie he realises that even that she really doesn't want to marry and she sees him as a brother he has fallen for her and the men of Effie's life help him win her . What will happen when she discover the guide the men wrote for him ? Will she realise that love is real ?
