Fantastic book for young ones as they begin to learn to read and write. The addition of some Spanish was good to see. Bright, colourful and appealing.

I home school my son who is 5 and is on the Autism Spectrum. I am always searching for the perfect workbooks to help him. THis is one of those! I love the bright illustrations and simple text. THe book is easy to follow along and understand. In this book you learn so much including the basics like ABC and 123s but you also learn sight words, understanding emotions and even Spanish. It was more than I expected to find. The book is a great guide to help you as your little one gets ready for kindergarten. My son loves the workbook and constantly wants to look at it. I loved the section on Emotional Intelligence, I feel our children really need it. Your family will love this workbook. It is also great to use in an early childhood classroom.

This book is phenomenal!! Sandra and Jomo wrote a fantastic book. I studied early childhood, taught preschool for five years, and have four kids of my own and wish I had this book for my littles. But I will be gifting this to friends! It was so full of great things for kids. Highly, highly recommend!

This book is primarily a collection of different worksheets of tracing and writing letters and words. The emotional intelligence focus of the book does not occur until about the last 20 pages.

As a kindergarten teacher, the worksheets are quite nicely laid out and they progress from simple tracing to complete writing well. These are worksheets that can be used either in the classroom or at home.

I find the title to be slightly misleading as most of the book is the tracing and writing worksheets with a small section in the back about teaching emotional regulation in kindergarten.

I think that this book is an excellent supplemental book to assist teachers or parents with their kindergartens work.

Four stars out of five
