ARK STORM is engaging and engrossing with especial appeal to aficionados of disaster Climate Fiction and disaster films. It's also joyful and heartrending, with a strongly empowered heroine who is independent and determined. Make no mistake, the basic premise of this novel could happen anytime, especially as climate change worsens. Strong impassioned characters and a scary plot create a can't set aside story.

Ark Storm by Linda Davies is a stand-alone science fiction thriller. I love a good disaster book so I was happy to pick up Ark Storm. I was expecting catastrophe and carnage but what I got was more slow paced thriller. I thought this was a fun read that is not to be taken too seriously.
