I liked this okay. It was fun and had humor. It was a fast little read. I liked the agent and espionage aspects of the story and that it was all tied into a holiday story. I will say that for most of the book I thought Park was the worst secret agent ever haha. But I did like the twist. If you want a lighthearted holiday rom com with a spy twist, give it a shot.

I truly enjoyed this book even though I had previously seen mixed reviews. The banter and hilarity had me laughing out loud multiple times throughout the book! I felt this book had a similar vibe to the Stephanie Plum books or the Finley Donovan series; lots of hilarious moments and mishaps. I would definitely recommend this book and read others by this author again.

A perfect addition to your Christmas collection! I loved the story and the twists and turns. The love story was so sweet and well done! Seriously, just loved!!

This story about a cia agent and Lacey(who is supposed to be not connected to the situation), but of course is was a unique listen! It was intriguing to know what would come next, while also having holiday traditions and family thrown in too was fun!

This was a fun holiday romance with a plot that felt new to me. It’s not often that holidays are tied up with heists and spies but this was a fun read that kept me engaged the entire time.

After enjoying Kortney Keisel’s Summer Ever After, I was excited to receive an ARC of this holiday audiobook from NetGalley. Read this book if you want a spy + romance + holiday mashup… like a Hallmark version of Die Hard. The plot is ridiculous and far-fetched so go in with an open mind. This is a fun read not to be taken seriously. There’s dual narration, which I appreciate. I had a pretty good idea of the twist early on. This book was fine but Faking Christmas is my favorite in the Christmas Escape series.

This holiday spy adventure stole my heart two years ago when I first read it and my audio reread won me over once again.
There is so much to love about Park and Lacee! Their chemistry screams loud and clear from the first time they meet and gets more and more fun every second.
I loved the balance of the romance, the action, the plot, and the humor all wrapped up in a fast-paced, festive package.
The audiobook narration is STELLAR with a duet performance that keeps the experience immersive.
This is a highly entertaining listen that you won’t want to miss!
🔥: Make-outs
CW: violence with the lens of humor

Do you ever wish that a Hallmark Christmas movie would merge with a buddy cop movie? Then you MUST read this book!
Park Bradshaw is a CIA operative who needs the help of unsuspecting chemist Lacee after bumping into her at the mall. She now has something he desperately needs...and she has NO idea. What starts as mutual fake attractions turns into an endearing, madcap, subversive Christmas book that feels like a cross between Mission Impossible and every Hallmark movie. This book has more twists and turns than you can shake a stick at, and still finds a way to close as warm and sweet as a mug of Christmas cocoa!
I had the pleasure of listening to this audiobook, and it was SO MUCH FUN!! Andy Harrington did the voices for all of the male characters while Amanda Friday did the voices for all of the female characters, and they were tremendous! It felt like a fun, sweet, and zany radio show! I listened to this in two days and was endlessly entertained. It makes me want to read the rest of the Christmas Escape series, which features seven books written by seven different sweet/clean romance authors. There was plenty of romance while staying strictly in the sweet/clean vein of romance novels. I enjoyed their chemistry and banter!
At times it felt a bit too brutal for me (though "brutal" is a harsh word...gore was rarely mentioned). I didn't always connect to the characters' motives or thought processes. Additionally, I think this book could have wrapped at the 80-ish percent mark and still been a satisfying read. That being said, I think any fan of rom-coms and romantic suspense books will eat this story up!
Trigger warnings: mild gore/killing/fighting, visits to nursing homes, secondary character with dementia
I'd like to thank Dreamscape Select, Kortney Keisel, and Netgalley for the audio-ARC of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is a perfect holiday rom-com. It may be a bit cliche at times but it was charming nonetheless.
The book is full of twists and turns and the humour in here made me laugh a lot.
The spy part of the book made it not a regular romance, and made it very memorable.
The writing was really neat and witty. Just so easy and fast to read. A great holiday book to get into the holiday spirit.

This is a Christmas spy romance. Need I say more? I loved it! The MMC is a spy who is trying to help out a fellow spy he's never met, but feels obligated to help. Through a random series of events, he ends up getting FMC Lacee caught up in the intrigue.
The witty banter was enjoyable. The hijinks were hilarious! It was a great lighthearted read with a holiday theme. I listened to the audiobook version and I loved that the narrators worked together to voice their characters lines throughout the book, rather than alternating chapters and changing their voices. It was a much better experience, in my opinion.

Kortney can do no wrong, honestly. This story was hilarious and swooney and suspenseful and kept you guessing who really was Sienna Prime. She never fails with the perfect meet cute. Parks and Lacees was nothing short of comical. Park fit right into Lacees family and all of the great Christmas traditions.
The narrators once again did such a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. The dual narration is great because it really feels like you’re listening to a movie.

This book was such a fun zany ride. I enjoyed the characters and the twist and turns the story took the reader on. I loved the romance, and the main characters were endearing, and you wanted to root for them. There were a couple of spots where I felt it ventured into unbelievable territory, but I felt it worked for the type of story it was and found this book overall, very entertaining!

"Later On We'll Conspire" by Kortney Keisel is a thrilling and festive holiday romance that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Lacee's unexpected adventure with the enigmatic Park Bradshaw is filled with suspense, humor, and heartwarming moments. Keisel masterfully blends the excitement of a spy thriller with the charm of a holiday romance, making this book a perfect read for the season. The chemistry between Lacee and Park is electric, and their journey is both entertaining and heartwarming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and exciting holiday read!

Spies! At Christmas! With a fake-dating vibe. There's lots of things to like! This book was a perfect little holiday season thriller (I'd call it cozy but there is some shooting and bad guys dying). I really enjoyed the integrated dialog by narrators Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington - meaning they read their dialog as it came instead of narrating individual chapters. For me, the narration felt more dynamic that way. There were some parts of the book I didn't necessarily agree with (I think other reviews also mention the 'acting' bit with an elderly person with dementia - like this could have been pulled off by just an old actress why did she have to have dementia this makes consent so dubious!!). Setting that aside, this was fun enough that I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday romance (no spice) or fun spies. Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this. I don’t always find holiday romances very memorable and I don’t think this will be memorable for me but it was a quick, fun, and easy read. I was able to finish it in a day.

Lacee and Park have quite the meet and it’s a flat out adventure from that crazy moment to the very last page. Is Park a real life spy? Well yes. Yes he is. Do they get into all kinds of trouble? Yes. Yes they do.
Fake mom. Fake kisses. Christmas cheer. Baked beans to the head. Super secret stuff. It’s just awesome!!
Park and Lacee are flat out crazy fun. Find out what happens when they get forced to run.
The narration is fantastic!!

This book is a beautiful blend of whimsy, romance, and heartfelt moments that left me smiling from ear to ear. From the very first chapter, I was drawn into the charming world Keilsel has created. The characters are so relatable and endearing, each with their own dreams and quirks that made them feel like friends. I loved how their stories intertwined, creating a tapestry of connections that was both heartwarming and inspiring. What really stood out to me was the exploration of hope and the magic of everyday moments. Keilsel’s writing is lyrical and evocative, making even the simplest scenes feel profound. I found myself reflecting on my own experiences and the little joys that make life special.

Later On Well Conspire is a blend of suspense and holiday cheer. Lacees holidays plan take a turn when she bumps into a stranger Park Bradshaw. He is not who she thinks he is and she's in for a wild ride.
There is a twist at the end that I was not expecting and made for a nice conclusion.

This Christmas romcom was a unique and fun take on the spy world. If you enjoyed the movie, Knight & Day, then you will probably be a fan of this story. The quirky bits of humor thrown in definitely reminded me of that film.
The scenarios are over the top, as is the sizzling chemistry between Lacee and Park. There was romance, danger, action, humor, and some fun twists in this adventure. I listened to the audio book and really enjoyed the duet narration.
This is a fun romcom, but be aware that it is a lighthearted spy thriller, as well, so there are bad guys that attack the main characters and those bad guys generally end up dead. This was the first spy romcom that I have read and I found it to be a fun diversion from reality.
I received a complimentary copy of this audio book. All opinions are my own.

Later On We’ll Conspire is a cute romcom with a fun action twist. I really enjoyed the concept of this story, with the action spy plot progressing right along with the romcom plot. The two main characters are quite funny, and enjoyable to follow along with.
This romance is a low spice, but it feels like it’s amped up plenty with the action plot and with the chemistry between the two.
This is a definite read this holiday season if you’re looking for something lighthearted and easy to read, but also like a great mashup with action/adventure.
I listened to the audiobook version of this story which was well done by a male and female narrator. I listened at 1.75x speed (with my normal audiobook listening speed being 1.75-2x speed).
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for this advanced audiobook copy.
