Thank you Netgalley ans dreamscape select for the ALC. My opinions are being left voluntarily. I have enjoyed the r3stnkf the books in this Christmas series However this none left me scratching my head and wondering what was going on.... I found it confusing and boring.

Campy, ridiculous, unbelievable

You have to separate from reality too much for me to enjoy this one. It was so ridiculous, I should have DNFed it. It is not the type of book I enjoy.

I am sad that such a cute title was wasted on a book I disliked so much.

Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington narrate the audiobook. I do not enjoy Amanda Friday- I find her narrations annoying. I usually give a narrator a few times before writing them off, and I am at that point. Andy Harrington is fine. Kind of monotone and staccato, but tolerable.

I received an advance audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

If you're looking for a holiday read with a mix of spy action and rom-com magic, Later On We'll Conspire delivers! It feels like James Bond meets Christmas, with thrilling espionage and sweet romance blending together in such a satisfying way. Lacee, a charming chemist, brings her "sciency" flair to the story, and her periodic table-themed accessories are just delightful (I definitely need that charm bracelet). She has the brightest personality and is so relatable and loveable! Park's affection for her quirks adds a lovely touch to their budding relationship, and their chemistry is truly captivating. And that twist at the end? It blew me away! A must-read for anyone who enjoys action-packed romance during the festive season.

This was pretty darn cute. From the cheesy lines, mystery plot, and epilogue. I loved that it was Christmas romance adjacent. It was obviously taking place at Christmas and it factored into the plot to some extent but it was also more. There were some twists here and there that I saw coming pretty early on but I think they interesting and well done.
Amanda Friday & Andy Harrington were fun. I think their styles added to the quirky, fun vibes of this story and I liked their diction and speed.

My first Kortney Keisel book. I really enjoyed the all the characters as well as the banter and adventures between Lacee and Park. Fun Christmas Rom-Com and fast moving plot. Steam level is low - kissing only.
Many thanks to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I did not like the voice of the female narrator at all. I don't know what it was, but I couldn't get past that. The male voice was not perfect, but better. As far as the content of the book I thought it was very sloppy and poorly put together. Even for a spy novel, most of it was not believe able and very well thought out. I was excited to listen to this, because I had loved some of her other books. I tried hard to like it, but in the end only could make it about 1/2 way through.

Loved this! I sorta figured it out, but it was still really good. A great twist on a holiday theme. I enjoyed the characters and the action and adventure of it all!

Amazing! It was a five-star audiobook read for me. This book is so good I enjoyed every minute! It is hilarious, swoon-worthy, action-packed, and amazing!! The narrators did a fantastic job!

The story was so captivating with its blend of spy intrigue and romantic chemistry. It is masterly written! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading, and I was fully engaged with it and didn’t want to put it down. This book has it all! Romance, hilarious moments, banter, wit, and action are all present and make it nearly impossible to put this book down!
The book gave me ‘Knight and Day’, ‘Mr & Mrs. Smith’, & ‘Mission Impossible’ vibes. Loved it!!

Spending Christmas single was the plan for Lacee until she bumps into a handsome stranger who always seems to be in the right place at the right time. What starts out as a casual holiday fling in her hometown turns into a holiday on the run for their lives where making it home for Christmas is the least of her worries.

This was quite interesting 😂 For this to even make sense I had to suspend my disbelief to enjoy the intense scenes once they came into play 😂 I also figured out the plot twist but loved the explanation about how everything was planned.

I loved that despite the main storyline there were quintessential Christmas activities woven in that Lacee and Park participated in. Those definitely helped tone down the intensity of the story. They had chemistry early on so seeing how it all played out as they tried to uncomplicate their predicament was exciting.

I enjoyed the duet narration on this one 😄 Thank you to Netgalley and Publisher for an ALC in exchange for an honest review.

Holiday romcom meets Mr. & Mrs. Smith with a bit of Mission Impossible thrown in. This is a campy novel but it's a fun, suspenseful read. Don't take this book too seriously, expect lots of shenanigans and you will have a great time. Spice level is very minimal as there is only kissing. I liked the fast paced storyline, the action and the banter between the two MC's.

Audio narration done by Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington is done well!

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Select | Kortney Keisel for access to the ALC in exchange for an honest review.

I want to start by saying I enjoyed the narration. It was done very well.
This book is a very interesting twist on a holiday romance. It's like Mr. And Mrs. Smith and a Hallmark movie has a baby. There are twists and turns, hilarious side characters and sweet romance. I feel like the book was paced very well and the reveals were well times to keep the reader guessing. This is also set at Christmas time but is not overwhelming with the holiday cheer. It is a fun holiday read for this Christmas season.

Narrators Amanda Friday & Andy Harrington performed wonderfully. I really liked their characterizations and how they brought the story to life.

This is such a fun, wacky holiday romcom. This had everything I hoped it would: action, thrills, romance, humor and great kissing scenes. I had a blast listening to this. Never a dull moment.

I really liked the spy element and thought it brought a unique twist to a holiday romcom. Definitely a fun read!

I enjoyed this one better than I expected, I was not expecting that twist and I loved it! Moved the plot from a 4 star to a 5 star.
I listened to the audio for this one and I loved it. You have to love Amanda Friday when she's on the audio. She is unique, funny and really gives the reader the best experience. Our male voice wasn't bad either, loved him too, but Amanda really does shin brightly.
The story was great I love a romance suspense, and this did have a romantic feeling and a light suspense, I mean he is a spy! It was a light suspense and light action, so no gruesome stuff, things did fall in place easily - hence the light suspense - but it was still an exciting read.
I absolutely loved the inner thoughts from our characters and how our narrators played them out - it really adds to the experience when they can make you feel what the character is feeling. Although sometimes it was hard to figure out what was an inner voice and what was dialogue being said out loud.
And of course I love all the chemistry the author put in this clean romance. It just comes to show you don't need the spice to get all the feels.

I had no idea that this was going to be such a fun spy novel, with great romantic suspense, when I picked it up! I just knew I really enjoyed the previous book by Keisel that I had read and thought this would be another good one, with a Christmas theme.

I was very pleasantly surprised by all of the twists and turns and the agency involvement, with the very innocent Lacey running into agent Park in a clothing store changing room, thus changing her Christmas and her entire future.

This is a fantastic and unexpected plot and I really loved every minute of the excitement - the surprise twists (I started guessing at certain aspects because I read a lot of thrillers as well as romance, so I had a good idea when the surprise came up), and Keisel did a great job!

I definitely recommend this one to all romance readers who are looking for light romantic suspense but aren’t ready for a real thriller, and enjoy clean, sweet and swoony - kissing only. It’s definitely very well-written, and I’m looking forward to picking up more from her, and more in this Christmas series!

It was narrated by Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington, who both did an absolutely brilliant job. I loved the performance by each of them and really look forward to plenty more books with their names attached. Very well done!

I received an advance listen copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Select, and this is my honest feedback.

I loved this series of standalones when they came out, and I'm loving rereading them through audio this fall
This is a cute little story about spies and its so silly, quick, and fun

I really enjoyed this one. It was funny and romantic and had lots of mystery and action.
I absolutely loved the witty banter and the long winded conversations Lacee had with Park- they made me laugh.
I was so happy that it was a dual narration! Both narrators were amazing and it made the story so much fun to listen to.
I loved the story, loved the characters and loved the ending.
This would be a really fun movie.

It’s giving Hallmark Channel holiday mystery. And I’m here for it.

I’ve only read one other Kortney Keisel book (Summer Ever After) and this was very much in line with that in terms of tone. Plus a dash of holiday cheer, a sprinkle of humor and a splash of espionage. Fun!

If I’m taking the mystery aspect of this book seriously (I’m not), I should mention the twist is pretty obvious and there are a few glaring plot holes. These things don’t bother me since at its core, this book is a holiday rom com. A cute little love story with lots of flirty banter.

All in all: An action-packed romance filled with sweet moments, silly humor and festive holiday fun.

I recommend this book if you’re into:

Holiday Romance
Clean Romance
Contemporary Romance
Romantic Suspense

3.5 rounded up to 4.

This book was so fun.
A closed door, Christmas romance. But with a FUN action aspect.

3.5 stars ⭐️ Later On We’ll Conspire is a fun, clean holiday romance. Park is a spy and meets Lacee when she walks in on him in the dressing room. He put a microchip that had sensitive data on it and he had to follow her across the country to get it back. The romance is solid. It is closed door, which was fine. The plot started out interesting became somewhat ridiculous by the end, but still was entertaining. The audiobook was done well. Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington did a good job with the duet narration. It was a quick holiday rom-com. If you like clean rom-coms, you will like Later On We’ll Conspire.

Thank you to Netgalley for an ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
