I loved this book. It has a great, well-paced story and a wonderful cast of characters, both the protagonists and equally good antagonists. The magic system made sense and was very good but not overwhelming. The writing is clever and funny and the book is a superb satire of reality television. Some parts were laugh-out-loud funny. On the other hand, I felt the denouement was much too long. Nonetheless, this is a great read and should appeal to fans of the genre.
