This is one of my favorite series and I have patiently been waiting for the last 3 books to be released.
I love Lydia and Aon and everyone else in this story. Kingsley is a great writer with a knack for making you laugh and cry at the same time. I ate this book up in one day and still can’t get enough.
The relationships, the plot twists and all of it was well done and this series deserves much more hype.
A win for another in the series, they get better every time and they just don't stop! This is a series you definitely want to pick up
This was a strong fourth entry in the Masks of Under series, it had that feel that I was looking for and enjoyed the overall story being told. Kathryn Ann Kingsley was able to create that world that I was hoping for and enjoyed from the previous three books. The characters had that element that I was expecting and glad everything worked overall. I can't wait to read the next entry in this series.
Thank you Second Sky/NetGalley for this ARC!!!
Ugh, I love this series - it’s so much fun! King of Blood was excellent - the last ~20% had my jaw on the floor!
Can’t wait to read the next book (which I’ll be doing effective immediately)!
I am so beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to read this book early. I originally received an arc of book one, and I devoured it. Loved it. Great time. Then I waited for books two and three. Devoured. Loved. And waited again. Finally, I have been able to read book 4 (and very shortly books 5&6)
I really like this series. I read a lot of books. Because I read so many books, even when I enjoy a book, I often don’t think about it after I finish it. Something about Kathryn Ann Kingsley’s writing makes me think about her worlds and wonder. I felt it in the Maze of Shadow series, and I really feel it in this series.
This is book 4, so I am not going to give a recap, but suffice to say it is a wonderful addition to this already great series. I just can’t stop myself from turning the page. I really really really hope that this series gets special editions to match the Fae Crate Deal of Shadows and Maze of Shadows editions.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book. All opinions are entirely my own. 4.25/5 stars
