If you are currently reading about menopause this is a good book to add to your reading pile. The book is written with a conversation style that makes it easy to understand. I've read quite a few menopause books and this one felt like so many of the ones that have come out in the past year. I did like how it was broken up for ease of reading. While they do talk about MHT, if you want something in depth this isn't that book. A nice change that I haven't seen in other books was that they talked about how relationships are affected as well as facing the future.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.

This is one of the first books I have read on menopause and I found Otto be very interesting. I enjoyed the way the author presented the information and the ways the chapters were broken down. It was a lot of information but was brim e.g. m down in a way that wasn’t overwhelming. Great book for any woman interested in learning more about perimenopause and menopause., Thank you to the publisher for sending me an ARC of this book.

There are so many new books on menopause coming out these days. I appreciate it. As a 40-something woman, I have never talked about this topic with anyone...including my mother. So I'm reading it all to be ready. Thank you for this new addition to the mix.

This book was very helpful. It gave me some things to think about. It’s a good resource for symptoms and how to alleviate them. Good reference guide.

This is a well-researched book about the effects of menopause. I'm in my early 40s and I wanted to learn more about premenopause and menopause. I liked the introduction by actress Naomi Watts. The medical experts did a good job outlining the cause and effects of menopause. I liked how they talked about the stigmas that are associated with menopause. Interesting read.

This is a very readable, interesting and at times witty book. Menopause is Hot is very informative and written in a way which makes you want to read it, even if you are just reading about what is relevant to you at the time. The well placed chapter titles and subtitles make this very accessible.
The book is relatable and enjoyable to read and I will definitely be buying a copy for the library and I will be among the people checking it out to read!

I've read every menopause book that's been published in the last couple of years to educate myself on this third trimester of life that over half the world's population will go through. Menopause is Hot is a great addition to the subject. The anecdotes were engaging, relatable, and real. The information in the book was extremely helpful.
