It took me a long time to read this book because it made me need space to think after each chapter. It gave me a new perspective, and I liked it.

This is simply another climate change book with a slightly different twist. But global warming is today saving eight people from premature death for each poor soul who succumbs to any excessive warming. Ever since The Crimean War we have known that cold kills far more people than does any excessive heating, ergo, SO FAR global warming has been a major boon to all of humankind.
