Bringing joy back into someone's life after the loss of a loved one can be a challenge. This story gives us hope that family, neighbors, and a dog can do wonders to make life worth living. A story that will take you through many emotions (yes I cried)
I could definitely relate to everything that was written - Jeanine brought all the various emotions out with her incredible writing! Highly recommend this read!

Claudia and Alex have an argument as he leaves to go for a job interview. After that, Claudia's sister calls to say she and her husband Aiden(who is recovering from a heart attack are getting on a plane to go on vacation. Their mother fell and needs help and she expects Claudia to leave her job to go help her. Rhys(Karen's son ) will be checking on her. As Claudia is on her way, Rhys calls her and lets her know her Mom isn't well she advises him to call an ambulance and she will meet him at the hospital. Vivian stays in the hospital a couple of days , when she comes home they try to get her involved in everything Christmas. See how Claudia, Rhys and Clint her back al almost to her old self since her husband passed away earlier in the year.. A VERY GOOD READ.
