**Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this advanced copy of If Animals Could Talk Embarrassing Dads, in exchange for an honest review.**
If Animals Could Talk -Embarrassing Dads, is a super cute book all about animal dads being super silly. Its not just human dads that have a sense of humor- but animals too. This would make an excellent book as a gift for Fathers Day for the child to read with them. It is full of funny pictures of animal dads saying things only dads would say. I was laughing out loud at some of the captions because my husband fit the mold of so many! (Ignoring instructions, forgetting what they were doing, terrible jokes and more! ) This book would definitely be relatable for so many dads, and would be sure to bring some laughter for the whole family. Would recommend for younger / middle aged children.
Sure, this was cute enough. Would I pay $13 USD for it? No. I mean, it's basically a book of memes targeted directly for my dad, who would be the target audience, but he wouldn't spend $13 USD on it either. He would chuckle at some of them, maybe send me one or two from Twitter, but that's about it.
Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for this advance readers copy in exchange for my honest feedback. This one was very cute read for children of all ages. The pictures of the animals will make even the adults laugh including myself.
What a perfect little gift or stocking filler for a Dad in your life! The pictures are so funny and the captions made me chuckle. I know my own Dad would find this funny to read. Good quality photos too, they look as if they’re from a proper nature book.
This was a short but delightful and comical book for lovers of Dad jokes and animals. The photographs are outstanding but I wish it was a bit longer but it would be a cute stocking stuffer for the right person. The bears are my fav.

This is an adorable little book full of cute animal pictures. There’s not much to say about it, but it’s cute. I recommend if you like animals and silly memes and just want something light hearted and easy.
This is a fun book which demonstrates, through photographs, that animals do indeed possess "Dad" attributes. So, you can add this book to "Dad" joke books. The pictures are fun and the text is funny. Enjoyable, fun, light read, sure to delight.
One of the most quickly-read books I'll witness all year, but one that also made me laugh. It's a selection of stock animal photos dressed up with captions and occasional speech bubbles to make it all a list of comic stereotypes of the 'dad' figure – the lumpen old man who still thinks he's a trendy groover with a svelte body, a full head of hair and everything a woman needs. He – that 'dad' – is always the first person in the world to have ever told a lame old joke, loves nothing more than delaying his DIY plans (hoarding crap bits of lumber in the meantime), and will always utter 'there, that'll never move' when he's finished something, whether it be putting up a shelf or shifting a poo he finds impressive. Yes, this is along those lines, and as I say really doesn't take much to flick through, but it is not a failure. To such an extent that – as long as you know this will take five minutes, be looked at once and then end up in the charity shop – it's a four star gift-book purchase.
My thanks to Quarto Book Publishing and NetGalley for a copy of “ If Animals Could Talk “ for an honest review.
I think this is more of a gimmick stocking filler , as it is such a thin book.To be honest you’d get better, and funnier. animal jokes on the internet .
I’ve given it an extra star just for the cuteness of the smiling dog !
