Alzheimer's disease is a frightening condition that doesn't yet have a cure, and it affects a lot of families. This book clearly explains the basics: what it is, how it's treated, prognosis, treatment, and even current research. There are a lot of personal stories from people who've experienced Alzheimer's in a loved one, and important information on how to treat loved ones in the most caring way. Young people can often help provide necessary care.
This book is optimistic, and the author believes we will find the cure. In the meantime, there are things we can do to try to help prevent this terrible disease, and ways we can treat our loved ones so they are more comfortable.
