A sweet picture book about bear taking a sick day and his friends being there to help him through it.
Lovely book for younger children about friendship, and that you are there for each other and help when you can.
Lovely, simple storyline with bright eyecatching illustrations.
This might have been a sterling look at friendship between animals, as a rabbit character sacrifices his time and devotes it to cheering up his poorly bear friend, but I couldn't really tell for sure as the netgalley file was the wrong format, so I could only see about 70% of each spread. What I did see looked cute and easy to read, but without the punchline at the end being visible I can't be sure of the overall effect. But note to publicists – EPUB files are to be avoided in future!
What an enchanting tale that captures the hearts of young readers! From the moment you open the book, you’re transported into a world. The illustrations are absolutely stunning, bursting with color and detail that complement the story beautifully. The storytelling is engaging and age-appropriate, with just the right balance of excitement and heart. Young readers will love following along.
A cute children's book about looking after your friends and caring for those you love.
A lovely message contained in the book about love and friendship being a two-way street.
Nice illustrations too.
Bear's Sick Day by Hong Lee.
I read this book out loud to my 3 year old son and my 11 month old son and my boys both sat and listened to the story.
My 3 year old was smiling away at the story.
Such a cute little story
Very cute. Toddler loved it and has been demanding to be read it for the last week. Definitely recommend.
I was given a free copy of this from NetGalley for my honest review.
This was the sweetest and cutest little story. I absolutely loved it. Bear was feeling unwell and his friend Rabbit came to visit. He didn't want to let Rabbit in at first worried about getting his friend sick. But Rabbit being a good friend wanted to take care of his friend. This is a beautiful story about friendship and I would recommend this to anyone with children as this is an adorable story and I really think it shows the best side of a friendship.
This is a cute book. Bunny is a thoughtful creature to help a friend in time of need. It encourages children to be kind. My kids loved it and it was the perfect length.

My 3 year old loved this book! I had to read it four times before he’d go to sleep tonight. The crashing of the jenga blocks made him laugh.
This book shows children the importance of caring for others. It also displays that it can be rewarding. Some of the text feels a bit choppy and I feel like the book ended quite suddenly.
What a sweet story with a great learning lesson, my daughter loved the pictures and enjoyed the characters
Bunny wants to play and visits Bear. But Bear isn’t feeling too well. That’s okay! Bunny knows all the ways to help Bear feel better! Children get a good-hearted tale of friendship and what friends do for each other to show they matter. This was a cute little story. I can see this as a go-to read when little ones are under the weather. I loved how cheery and thoughtful Rabbit was. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for this arc copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book was so adorable! The main reason I say this is the cute style of each illustration. The illustrator perfectly captured the personality of each character, which was especially important for this book. On top of that, I really liked the writing style of this book, which was mainly with speech bubbles. This helped me stay engaged and it made the book more unique. As for the story itself, it was great! There was a clear plot that was nicely organized. My only problem with that was the story felt like it ended a bit abruptly. I would have liked to see one more page that had a stronger note of finality with it. That aside, this book teaches young readers both healthy habits (i.e. handwashing) and how to be a good friend.
Awesome book, bravo!
Loved this book. Bear and bunny are adorable friends. Outstanding illustrations. Great story. I was blessed with a free ARC, and I’m voluntarily leaving my review. Highly recommend.
A cute childrens read about friendship. I loved how good bunny took care of bear and risked getting sick. A good lesson for kids.
When Bunny prepares to spend the day playing with Bear, Bear says they can't play outside together because he's feeling sick. Like any best friend would, Bunny pulls out all the stops to make Bear feel better, from making hot tea to a fun dance break.
A simple, sweet book with adorable illustrations about how anything is bearable with a friend beside you.
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing me with a free eARC in exchange for an honest review.
