Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Felicity life is spinning out of control. She makes the decision to move to 5ge country. I liked this book.

After losing her job in a moment of regret following her ex-fiancé's picture-perfect wedding, Fliss finds herself unexpectedly inheriting a fixer-upper in the countryside. The bright spot in her new life? Jesse Woods, the charming and ever-helpful local. When a tree crashes through her roof, Fliss reluctantly accepts Jesse's help—and a place to stay. Though wary of trusting men again, Jesse just might be the one to change her mind.
The chemistry between Fliss and Jesse was adorable—predictable, yes, but that’s exactly what I love in a good chick lit! While the storyline was lighthearted and filled with fun side characters and a hilarious meet-cute, it also had some emotional depth. Fliss’s backstory, her guardedness, and Jesse’s past all added layers that brought a few tears to my eyes. It wasn’t all smooth sailing for them, with a few bumps along the way, but it made for an enjoyable, quick read that I finished in just a few days.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the copy!

A very authentic and enjoyable story from Morrey. I liked the characters and how they come together despite mishaps along the way. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Great book. Realistic characters and plot. I was Hooked by the description and never stopped being engaged in the story. .
