The synopsis was more interesting than the actual novel. Too many plot lines and characters to keep track of. I had high hopes for this book because the story takes place at a Jewish summer camp but the end result proved to be lackluster to say the least. Such a disappointment.

This was genuinely interesting and morally probing. While at times the story felt a little lost with so many subplots and names (and narrators), I felt there was still a good narrative thread and enjoyment, and the setting was really interesting! An important book for these divisive times.
