Treat is a delightful romance that seamlessly blends humor and heart. The playful banter and steamy dynamics create an engaging push and pull, while the stakes of their boss-employee relationship add a delicious layer of complexity. The writing is witty and charming, drawing you into a world where love and ambition collide. This story is perfect for those who love sports romance with a dash of humor, longing, and a hint of forbidden allure.

Thank you Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. These opinions are completely my own

I wanted to love this book, because the concept is right up my alley. Sadly I kept getting annoyed at the details of the their surrender to want to keep going. I like to build the scenes in my head and the book didn't lend itself to that

Brynn is a PA and during offseason her salary is non-existent according to the accountant at the firm she works for. Her client is away for 6 weeks and she has access to his apartment and since she couldn’t afford rent why not use his bed and clean the place for a little income.

Jude comes home early from his vacation late at night and stumbles into his bed to find a furry companion he definitely didn’t have before he left to see his family. Finding out he should pay more attention to the company running his life he also needs to decide if he should act on his recurrent fantasy about his employee…

At its core, this is a boss/assistant story, where they've always had the hots for each other, but finally give in. For a series that started with Stuffed, this final book is surprisingly tame. Unless, perhaps, you're very into a man with a mustache, because the mustache is as integral part of the spice.

I liked the hijinks angles - the dog sitting, the borrowing the boss's apartment while he's away. And I liked the visit from the main couple in Stuffed.

It felt like there were external plot factors (his agent, issues with payroll) that wanted to be more developed, but the scope of the story didn't allow it.

It's pretty short, it's got fun spice, and some hockey romance flavor. A good time overall.

**Review of *Treat (F.I.L.T.H. Book 4)* by Hannah Murray**

In *Treat*, the fourth installment of the F.I.L.T.H. series, Hannah Murray dives into a tantalizing workplace romance between Jude, a new NHL player for the Detroit Cougars, and his personal assistant, Brynn. Caught in a compromising situation, Brynn's life becomes intertwined with Jude's, leading to a mix of humor and romantic tension. The story expertly balances the dynamics of professional and personal relationships, touching on themes of ambition and attraction while addressing real-world issues like homelessness and food insecurity. This installment promises a blend of steamy moments and heartfelt exploration, appealing to fans of contemporary romance

Wholly obsessed with everything Hannah Murray does. And Jude’s story was an absolute treat, truly. Jude and Brynn bring the heat in this boss/employee story. A NHL player who is so horrifically down bad for his assistant. I love love love the fact that Jude “the Thighs” Bessonette has a mustache, and he *learns* how to use it. He’s also so obsessed with Brynn and ensuring that she is pleased (in every single way).

I do have to say-and this is not a complaint in any way-that for a hockey romance, it was very focused on baseball LOL. I’m always a fan of a kiss cam moment and I loved this one!

This was the perfect conclusion to the F.I.L.T.H. series. I loved seeing Esme and Tuck in this too.

Super short and basically just the typical good parts of a full length story. What I read was fine but lacked details that would have made this style of story be more appealing. It seems like the tension the author was trying to convey wasn’t as strong as it should have been. Even the steamy scenes lacked the passion and desire you’d expect when characters have been longing to be with each other. So it was okay to me.
