This graphic novel delivers a heartfelt story about growth, empathy, and the consequences of our actions. Following Ash, a tiny but powerful fighter consumed by the thrill of battle, the story takes a turn when he meets Dot, who challenges his perspective and teaches him the importance of helping others. With vibrant, colourful artwork and an engaging narrative, the book imparts valuable lessons about responsibility, thinking before acting, and finding new dreams. The strong character arcs, sweet moments, and positive message make it a worthwhile read for younger audiences - my 8 year old really enjoyed it too.

This was a cute graphic novel about a young fighter who can’t see anything but fighting. That is until he meets a character called Dot who changes his perspective and he has to put others first for a change! I really enjoyed the story and the art style of this!

I've read some of Joey Weiser's previous work and am a fan of his simplistic art and wonderful colors. He has a way of telling a story simply, great for younger readers, with a wonderful message that I look forward to sharing with my own child. This one was a great tale of learning there are consequences to actions and how to handle those. Looking forward to more from him.

Thanks to Net Galley and Oni Press for an advanced copy of this graphic novel! I really enjoyed the art style of the characters in this. I enjoyed the story telling and how the moral came to be. It’s a great look into revenge and whether it will end as satisfyingly as you’d expect. Highly recommend this one!

This is such a cute book with a great message, one being the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Though in all seriousness this is a great book to teach kids that there are consequences to your actions and just because you think you are doing something good the effects of what you are doing might have bad consequences so you should think before you act and help out when you contribute to something getting broken or destroyed. Also, sometimes it's better to help in smaller ways. Our main character learns some available lessons and even finds a new dream with a new friend!

"The Littlest Fighter" is a middle grade graphic novel by Joey Weiser. In a land where kaiju-type creatures fight to be champions over different areas, Ash is a tiny fighter with a lot of power. He doesn't care about being a village's champion. He just wants to defeat everyone. He meets Dot, who wants Ash to stop fighting and consider the consequences. When his actions cause damage to a village, Ash questions what he is doing. Bright and colorful illustrations show off the interesting world and inhabitants. The story feels a bit short, but that's the only downside. A recommended purchase for middle grade graphic novel collections.
