I wish this had been longer! This was so CUTE and my favorite novella in the Under the Mistletoe collection.

There’s not a tonne you can do in <60 pages, so I’m full of Holiday Grace for this tiny book.
It’s fairly charming, and if we gloss over the gaslighting-pick-up-artist “Conceited of you to assuming I was going to ask you out.” bit, it was an enjoyable listen.

This was cute! We love a hot firefighter! 🔥
Not gonna lie, I don’t remember much about this novella other than it being cute and hot and that the fireman was v brave. Four stars!
(Thank you, Brilliance Publishing | Amazon Original Stories and NetGalley, for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.)

Hot fireman to the rescue…um yes, please.
Everleigh Dangerfield is living up to her name and accidentally set the kitchen on fire while trying to bake some cookies. She is determined to do the things she used to with her grandmother as a way of saying goodbye to her. The only problem, some of the stuff in the house is a little old and temperamental, hence the fire. Griffen is a little smitten at first sight after showing up to assist in putting out the fire, but Everliegh is leaving soon and isn’t looking for anything.
What ensues are a few funny situational moments that involve needing to be rescued and Griffen being just the man for the job.
This was really cute, even if it was fast. I really liked the story but would have loved a small epilogue to the end as it cute off pretty fast.
Narration:
Amelie Griffin captured the fun of this book. She made the situational moments funny and Everliegh’s inner dialogue a lot of fun. She even did well on Griffin’s voice making him seem a little dreamy too.

I wanted to love this but I was not my favorite at all. I was really hopefully but it was a bit disappointing.

All of the stories in this anthology are... not great. I overall would not recommend this book. This story was better than most but overall wasn't my favorite. This series is quite steamy without much else going on.

Cute and fun festive read! Not a new fave but I'm glad I read it!
I thought both MCs were charming and the setting was lovely! I really enjoy it when authors I like write holiday books!

Thank you, Netgalley, the author, and Amazon Original Stories for the gifted audiobook! ❤️ #gifted. My review is comprised of my honest thoughts.
Read this book if you like: Holiday romance, hot firefighters, novellas
This is a super short read (around 60 pages). I loved it. I received the audiobook. The narration and story were so good. Cute, funny, and silly. Add this to your holiday tbr!

I loved the set up for this one so much! What a cute silly story. The determination of Everly to do it herself and continuing to have hilarious run ins with Griffin was fantastic.

This is going to be short since this is a novella, but I had to go ahead and write a tiny review on it since I got it from Netgalley. I remember listening to it and then being immediately mad that I only had this one? (Netgalley denied me for the others smh lol) But this was definitely very fun.
Ok so this one had me laughing from the beginning to the end. Why did Everleigh get into all this shit? Like everything she did was a disaster lol But I was glad for it because their meet cute had me SWOONING! Y’all know I love a good meet cute. And this one was THE ONE. Lmao I don’t think I’ve ever read one that had some burnt Christmas cookies tho.
The romance was very sweet. I hated their first date tho. I didn’t understand why she thought her disaster prone ass would have done any good in that situation? She wasn’t anywhere near as trained as they were. I thought it was weird that that was her first reaction lol But whatever the case may be, it made for a really good next scene lol
Ok so who would have thought that this one was going to have smex in this super short read, but still, it was there. And it was actually good. I had to pause it at one point because I wasn’t expecting it lol But it was good. Definitely made me want more of the story tho because smex in an hour and a half felt really fast.
This one was really good and again, it made me sad that this was the only one I got approved for. But then again, once I made my way through all of them, I actually enjoyed this one the most? I got laughs and swoons and surprises all in one. Definitely the THING that makes holiday stories for me. I hope y’all add these shorts to your holiday reads!

I have been loving trying out various new authors in Amazon's Original short story series this year! This was the first one that I listened to instead of reading. The narrator was great! The connection and banter between Griffin and Everleigh was fantastic. They were instantly adorable together. I'm excited to read the rest in this series.
Thank you to Netgalley, Alexandria Bellefleur and Brilliance Publishing for this ALC in exchange for my honest review.

Oh, Merriment and Mayhem! The fourth book of the Under the Mistletoe series was exactly what I needed to kick-start the holiday season! This story wrapped me up in cozy vibes and sprinkled in just the right amount of humor, romance, and spice.
Griffin and Everleigh's chemistry was an instant hit! Their banter had me laughing, swooning, and pressing play way past my bedtime just to get another taste of their flirty exchanges. Everleigh's sass and Griffin's charm made their relationship a total page-turner, and the romance built up to some seriously spicy scenes!
Whether it's the magic of the holidays or the undeniable pull between these two, this book serves up pure entertainment. The cozy, festive atmosphere just made me feel ready for twinkling lights, hot cocoa, and more books! Can't wait to dive into the other novellas in this series. If you want holiday warmth with a side of heat, this one is a must-read!

Short stories and novellas can be so difficult to pace. This felt like one long meet disaster, but with people making life decisions at the level of a full length book. It was super fun, but the ending felt abrupt. If you're looking for some slapstick comedy and lust-at-first sight, ending with some spice, you'll enjoy this! I really liked the narrator, each character was really unique and it felt cinematic.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. This is one out of a series of short stories. This is he only one I've read so far, but I loved every minute of it.

A well paced and plotted PNW romance that had me wanting more from this author. I really connected with the vulnerability we are given and think this will be a really well loved novella in this collection. Filled with heart and humor, it’s a hit!
Great narration by Amelie Griffin that brought a lot of spunk and emotional gravity that felt really honest to the characters. I really enjoyed the narration!

This novella is the quick, sexy holiday read you didn’t know you needed! A Christmas baking mishap brings Everleigh face-to-face with Griffin, a swoon-worthy firefighter who’s ready to ignite more than just holiday cheer. She’s not looking for a fling, but with Griffin constantly “on call” for her holiday disasters, resisting temptation gets harder by the minute.
I listened to the audio, and the narrator absolutely nailed it—perfect pacing, spot-on intonation. And those steamy scenes? 🫦 oh my. Done SO WELL.

Such a cute book!
Super quick read. I loved the banter between the characters. It was the perfect amount of fun, spice, characters getting to know each other.
Loved!

This was a short and spicy holiday read that I was drawn into from the very first little disaster meet cute! For a very short novella I felt satisfied with this story and that while I would love more it did wrap up nicely. The narrator did a great job and I thought she fit the mood and feel of the story really well! The spice level was great in this one and overall it was a very fun holiday read!

This was a nice novella with a hallmark movie feel. The couples meet cute was adorable! Clumsy girlie and a handsome firefighter-sign me up! The attraction was palpable from their first interaction. It felt like they were intended to be in each other's lives! A very quick read that I enjoyed. I'm looking forward to more in this series.

Audio review:
It wasn’t the best and wasn’t the worst. I just wasn’t a huge fan of the narrator.
3 stars

I adored this Pacific Northwest located novella. The book had such a great flow and within in a few chapters made me want to read more of this story. There was humor, sweetness and overcoming vulnerability that made this read a hit.
The narration was excellent. Amelie Griffin gave life to a firefighter Griffin and new to town Everleigh's romance.
