Pretty funny and entertaining. I loved Madison's personality and how she kept doing unexpected things. There wasn't much chemistry in the beginning but as I got to know the characters better I began to feel more of a connection between them besides the physical attraction the author noted at the start. The family dynamics are great and I liked that everyone could tell Jared and Madison were such a good match. The clever twists prevented the resolution from being cliche and overly predictable.

I requested this one back in the day as I had every intention of reading it. However, its been years and I still haven't gotten around to it and while I feel guilty at not reviewing a book I think that I need to admit to myself that I won't be reading this one anytime soon....if at all.

This was not something I thought was great. There were a few funny moments at the beginning where I held out hope that, though I didn't like the narrator, I would like the book. But that didn't happen.

The story was pretty standard far, to the point that I had to check to make sure I hadn't read it already, it seemed so familiar.

Will not be continuing to read the rest of the series.

This was a difficult one to read.

None of the characters were particularly likeable. I have a real aversion to people/characters acting like they're dying to get what they want.
I felt like when reading I was meant to think Madison was quirky and funny. She wasn't.
I am unsure what Jared's personality was meant to be...wet fish? because that's how he acted most of it.

The family was the most interesting part to this story. And I kept reading until the end, hence the 2 star rating. More like 1.5 stars.
I won't be going out of my way to read more from this author in the future.
