Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Children's for providing me with an egalley of this book to read and give an honest review. The opinions expressed here are my own.
If you haven't picked up this series yet, what are you waiting for? I love Page Morgan and her writing. She is a master of story telling. She draws the reader in and keeps them wanting to turn the pages. Of course this is the third book in the series, so go back and read the first two before you jump into this one or you will be lost.
In this final installment of The Dispossessed, Ingrid is left to take care of matters on her own. It was a little slow for me to start. I could have used a little more action. But I liked the different POVs given so you can see the story from a variety of perspectives.
With that said, Morgan has created a series of characters you really come to know and like (or mostly like even if they have traits that sometimes makes you want to smack them about!). The romance is nice. I love a good romance in a YA book. This one made me smile and there were many sign worthy moments.
I will say there were some unanswered things that gave me pause at the end and had me looking to see if maybe there might be another book or even a spin off. Not sure why there were those open ends, but perhaps this is the reasoning.
The ending was great. That's how you end a story. I'm not going to get into, because who wants spoilers in a review. But, needless to say, I don't think any reader will be disappointed with how Morgan wrapped it up.
Overall, this is a great series with action, friendship, and romance.
