I started this series at book 5, and now I definitely want to go back and read it from the beginning! While there are some details I’m missing, I was still able to follow and enjoy most of what was happening.
The story centers around kids in a school training to become something called “cloaks.” After a major battle, they’re in recovery but also preparing to compete in a significant competition. However, not everything is as it seems—some teachers are starting to suspect that someone isn’t who they claim to be.
The mix of intrigue, action, and mystery has me hooked, and I’m excited to see where this story goes next. I’ll definitely be diving into the earlier books to get the full picture!
