Sarah Ladd writes amazing stories set in England in the 1800s. This one is no exception. I have read and loved all three of the books in this series and this one just might be my favorite of them all. The characters of Cecily (love that name) and Nathaniel were very entertaining and I loved the mystery element of Cecily's search for her sister. I couldn't hardly put the book down for wanting to know what happened next. If you like romance, mystery and historical English settings, then don't pass up this series and this book!

Always enjoy reading historical fiction with some conflict (mystery) and ultimately a boy meet girl plotline from a Christian perspective. Not in your face, but clean and thoughtful. Ladd rocks this genre!
