The gang is back in California after fighting the werewolves. Now it seems there are angels to deal with. What kind of angels live in Helltown? Dark angels. Cedar must perform a binding spell to pass his test. Now he must pull all his knowledge to save Fritz.
The book has a fast pace, the characters are somewhat developed, and it is written in the first-person point of view. This is the third book in the series. If you like police procedurals with a magical twist, you will enjoy this book.

The story has a steady to fast paced and smooth flowing plot that keeps readers on their toes. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated drama and suspense draw the reader deeper into the story while the danger sends chills down the spine. The strong compelling characters are easily related to, grab the reader’s attention and charm readers with their own special brand of humor. Cesar doesn’t always follow the book and comes up with some unusual means of solving the crime and he’s about to find out that the murderer isn’t black and white either. There are quite a few twists and turns that keep the readers guessing and lots of chuckles as the reader gets caught up in the drama and mystery of the case. I will say however that this one was a little harder for me to get into at the beginning than the first one, but once I got past that point everything picks back up and gets going strong as ever.
