I received an ARC of this book. I am a firm believer that sequels are never better than the original..until now!! The twists kept coming, making it such an easy read. As soon as I thought I had something figured out, the rug was yanked out from under me in the best way possible. I would start to love a character and then hate them, I would start to hate a character and love them. This book made me feel all the feelings, a true rollercoaster ride.
If I could give it 6 stars, I totally would. This has been my favorite read in a very very long time!

Even better than The Perfect Marriage!

The Perfect Marriage I found to be extremely predictable, I knew what was going on from the very beginning, but I still found the story enjoyable. I worried that would be the case here as well, because admittedly I have predicted the endings to all the Jeneva Rose books I've read so far. And with this book, I kind of did, but also kind of didn't, because there were so many layers to this one!! It was like a brilliant chess game, which is my favourite type of thriller.

Thank you so much to the publisher and netgalley for the chance to read this book early! I absolutely loved the perfect marriage and when I heard this was coming out I immediately had to get my hands on it. This takes place years after the first book ended and looks into the wife (lawyers) life. This book had twists and turns and made you question who done it! I definitely enjoyed this one but not as much as the first book. I do love jeneva rose as an author so will always read her work.

I honestly wish 1000/10 stars was an option. Jeneva has done it yet again! With every book I’m left begging for more! I can’t wait for the next book to be published!

ARC. I’ve never been so happy to get an ARC of a book. This book did not disappoint! I would go as far to say that it was even better than the first one, which is saying something.

You would think you had something figured out and then bam, it was something completely different. This book kept me intrigued the entire time and always wanting more. Very well written, easy to follow along and overall good content!

Huge Jeneva Rose fan here telling all thriller readers to go read The Perfect Marriage before reading this sequel. When I heard there would be a sequel to Sarah Morgan’s story, I reread The Perfect Marriage to remind myself of that novel’s devilish details. With the story details from The Perfect Marriage in my head, the sequel The Perfect Divorce kept me on edge the whole way through. Oh, and be sure to read Jeneva Rose’s acknowledgments at the end for a surprise.

i got this as an arc so i was really excited to read it.
at first, i wasn’t sure about the multiple povs. there are 4 which i thought would be way too many, but it ended up not bothering me at all.
it took me about 15% of the book to really get into, probably because i was reacquainting myself with the characters and remembering what happened in the first book. after that, i was really invested in it and almost read it all in one sitting.
there were a lot of moving parts to the story which made it harder for me to make predictions, but in the end made it more satisfying when all the loose ends were tied up. there was one small detail that i felt didn’t have a satisfying conclusion, but i have a feeling that will come into play later as it seems this will not be the last book in the series.
overall, i really enjoyed this. it was fast paced and easy to get through as the chapters weren’t very long and it kept my attention with new pieces being added to the story in every chapter.

I could not be happier to have been given the opportunity to be an ARC reader of this book! The Perfect Marriage was my first Jeneva Rose book.
When they say “the sequel is never better than the original” that does not apply to this series!
Short chapters leaving my jaw on the floor at the end of each one I had to immediately begin the next one!
Sarah Morgan is my ALL TIME FAVORITE character in any book I’ve read! She is my spirit animal! I want to be her when I grow up!

I am not a sequel person. I never read book sequels and I hardly ever read book sequels. This book proved me wrong. I’m not a fast reader but this one kept me hooked. I finished it in 2 days which is very unlike me. I love the twist, the backstabbing and the drama. No matter how hard I try I can never guess the endings to Jeneva’s books. She does such a great job of making you think you’ve got it all figured out and then completely changing the script. The amount of times I gasped is uncountable. I cannot wait for more!

This book is a total rollercoaster of a ride. Just when I thought I had everything figured out I was hit with another building block of the story that had me going back to the drawing board over and over again. I would have never have dreamed of the way it ended. Everything tied in so nicely. Every little detail was thought of and no stone was left unturned. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has a love for reading, crime, thrillers, or legal thrillers.

I was one of the lucky people to get an advance copy. This is definitely the best book so far that Jeneva Rose has written. Usually the 2nd book of a series is not as good as the first but this one is one of the best books I have ever read!. I'm definitely Team Sarah and can't wait to see what she is up to in the next book. There was plenty of plot twists that you don't see coming. I definitely recommend you read this book!

Each chapter kept you guessing and wanting more and more, trying to figure out what is going to happen next. Usually sequels are a hit-or-miss, but Jeneva hit this one out of the park! Did we need a sequel to “The Perfect Marriage”? Maybe not. Did I preorder the special collector’s edition months in advance and stay up all night reading an ARC? Absolutely! I am a die-hard Jeneva Rose fan, and I will read anything she writes. When I received this ARC, I dropped everything I was doing so I could read it. “The Perfect Divorce” is another mind-blowing, pulse-pounding thriller. I faced the ultimate reader’s dilemma of wanting to take my time to enjoy the book or to binge it to find out what happened next. Ultimately, I just couldn’t put it down. I did guess a couple of twists, but the others I absolutely did not see coming. I’m still a little shocked! It’s really hard for a book to live up to “The Perfect Marriage,” but this book was a fun and exciting sequel. I’m so glad we got more of Sarah Morgan’s story, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

It's amazing to see how much Jeneve has grown as an author (and with her new publisher) since the publication of A Perfect Marriage. This sequal is superior in story, style, and overall cohesiveness to its predecessor, and in being so make me appreciate the original for giving us the foundation needed to create this series. The Perfect Divorce will keep you guessing (and gasping) right until the very end. I can't wait to see what's next in store for Sarah Morgan and of course for Jeneva herself.

I feel so special to have been given the chance to read an ARC copy of The Perfect Divorce! It started off a little slow for me, but once I was a little over 30% into it, the pace picked up and then I couldn't put it down!! I read it in under 48 hours, which is the quickest I've ever finished a book! I loved it and I have to read more Jeneva books!!

The first book, The Perfect Marriage, was actually the first book I read on my Kindle and was also the book that got me back into reading as an adult. I am thrilled to report that its sequel was just as twisty. I devoured this book in less than 24 hours - and no, I did not go to bed until I read it in its entirety. Readers will be happy to know that characters return, and that this book very much aligned with the first. I was hooked, and just like the first, this sequel truly kept me guessing until the end. Readers would be wise to read the Acknowledgements… just saying. ;)

Sequels are usually a hit or miss, and for me they are usually a hard miss. However, Jeneva Rose did not miss at all with this one. I think this book is equally if not better than The Perfect Marriage. I could not put the book down or in this case my phone, since I received an ARC thanks to Blackstone Publishing and the FB group where Jeneva gave everyone a chance to win a copy :). Each chapter got better and better with more suspense and guesses. One guess I got right and I had wished there was a little more mystery to it, but still doesn’t hurt my opinion or review of the book. There was one point in the book I had been utterly shocked and speechless. I had to take a few minutes to gather my thoughts as well as spam text my two friends who can’t wait for this book (no spoilers for them of course). Now I will just sit here and wait till publication date to get my hands on The Perfect Divorce collector's edition, so it can sit next to the first one. Hope everyone ends up loving the book as much as I did!
