Just like “The Perfect Marriage”, it’s fast paced with constant new information, having you thinking you have the story figured out but you don’t.

Overall it was an enjoyable read and a great sequel. Definitely a great read with friends, I could see this totally being a part of your book club.

No spoilers but be ready for April! I can’t believe all the twists and turns in this book. Every time I thought I knew was going to happen I was wrong. Be sure to preorder or add to your must read list! Trust me you want to read it.

If it wasn’t for me being sick I would have read so much faster. I couldn’t put it down and I had to know what was going to happen next. I can’t wait until the next book comes out.

I gave it a 4 star I feel like this story didn’t necessarily need a sequel but it was good don’t get me wrong. I want to see what else she writes in the future.

Absolutely loved this book. Almost every chapter had me shocked and jaw dropped with a new mini twist. Just when you think you have it all figured out - more information is thrown at you that flips your theory upside down. It left me guessing until the very end, and of course none of my theories were correct. I enjoyed it slightly more than the first!

Wow! Jeneva Rose did it again with her gripping, twist-filled page-turner. From the very first page, I was hooked and would've read this book in one sitting if adulting wasn't necessary. I was unsure of how Rose would top "The Perfect Marriage," but she did. The pacing is spot on, with just enough breadcrumbs to keep you engaged but never quite certain of what’s around the corner. And that ending? Brilliant! I didn’t see it coming! Perfect for fans of domestic thrillers with unexpected twists and complex relationships with multiple POVs. Book clubs will want this read to discuss the characters. I will be adding this book to my personal collection and eagerly await for the release date so I can dive in with other readers. I definitely recommend a re-read of the first book to fully appreciate this work of art!

I’m at a loss for words. The Perfect marriage is the first book I read after graduating high school, and I’m 35. My last book read before reading The Perfect Marriage was probably some term book in 2007. The Perfect Marriage is what sparked my love of reading, and this sequel just magnified that love. Thank you so much Jeneva for sharing your mind with us all. I won’t spoil the book for anyone else, I’ll just say that these books are MUST reads.

One of my favorite characters of all time, Sarah Morgan, is back in The Perfect Divorce, the highly-anticipated upcoming domestic thriller from Jeneva Rose!! The Perfect Marriage was one of my favorite reads ever, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this sequel. And while you never know if a sequel will live up to its predecessor, I'm so happy to tell you that this one not only lives up to The Perfect Marriage, it may actually exceed it.

This book has multiple POVs in alternating chapters, which kept me absolutely riveted to this story. I literally could not read it fast enough, and I just devoured this book from cover to cover. Jeneva is SO GOOD at crafting stories in which you think everybody could be the villain, and this was no exception. I love salaciously messy thrillers where there's a scoundrel at every turn, you can't trust anybody, and yet somehow you're still surprised with how good the twisty mess is concluded at the end.

If you loved The Perfect Marriage, then it's a no-brainer that you'll love The Perfect Divorce! You'll recognize many of the same characters from the first book, and even if you can't remember every detail from the previous book, it's okay... It'll all come back as you're reading. And if you haven't yet read The Perfect Marriage, I think you could read this one as a standalone. But honestly, I can't think of a single good reason why you'd want to skip over the riveting first part of this incredible story (so maybe just don't, okay?).

When I received the approval email for this book from NetGalley, I screamed with joy. And when I finished reading the Author's Acknowledgements at the end, I screamed again. Basically, this book is as scream-worthy as they come -- and I can't rave enough about this masterful plot-twisty domestic thriller! If you're as excited for this book's release as I was, be sure you set aside a day to read this in one sitting because you're not going to want to put it down.

I couldn’t put this book down; I even stayed up way pet my bedtime to finish it. I thought the first book was great, but this was even better. I was kept on the edge of my seat the entire time and I didn’t see the ending coming- that’s how an excellent book should be. Looking forward to Sarah’s next journey.

Jeneva has done it again! I really enjoyed the perfect marriage and was so excited when I saw she had a sequel to it. I wasn’t sure what to expect and expected this book to not be as great since sequels are usually disappointing. I was wrong! This book was great and offered more details and storyline that I didn’t even know I needed. Will be buying the special edition hardcover book when it is released to match with my perfect marriage hardcover.

Wow! I loved this. I was worried it wouldn't be as good as The Perfect Marriage because most sequels are not, but this did not disappoint. The chapters kept getting better and better and left you thinking about what was going to happen next. I have a couple of questions about characters and their connections, but I don't want to spoil it, so I will wait......Oh how I can't wait now. Haha

After reading the reviews that other readers have left here on NetGalley, I’m wondering if we read the same book.

Home Is Where the Bodies Are was one of my top reads of 2024. I thought the Perfect Marriage was a great standalone and was curious to see what Sarah was up to after the ending of the first book.

However, the writing in this was so repetitive and contained so many unnecessary details. The story itself was just okay and very predictable because it contains most of the thriller/mystery cliches that were all familiar with, and left a lot to be desired.

Even though this wasn’t what I would call a “full length” novel, this would’ve been better as a single or dual POV and as a novella.

Did not realize at the time I requested this it was a sequel. So I quickly downloaded the Perfect Marriage from Kindle and read it. Couldn't put it down! So was really looking forward to this title. Couldn't put it down either and it had the same edge of your seat thrill ride feel as the first one, only this time I knew there were going to be a ton of twists and turns. And there were. The Acknowledgements indicated there would be more of Sarah Morgan, can't wait to see what she gets up to next!

The Perfect Divorce is one of the most anticipated books of 2025 for many, and I was eager to see if this sequel to The Perfect Marriage would capture that same magic that’s hard to explain but kept us glued to the pages. I’m ecstatic to report that not only does The Perfect Divorce have that elusive quality (maybe the twists, the accessible story and writing, the ‘who are they really’ characters?), it also shows that author Jeneva Rose wanted to make sure readers knew she wasn’t here to play around.

The Perfect Divorce, which can be enjoyed as a standalone (but why do that?), catches up with Sarah, wife to recently deceased death row inmate Adam, as she goes about her new husband’s transgression in a way she didn’t with her first husband - divorce. Unfortunately Bob, her soon to be ex, is well aware of how brutal Sarah can be given he witnessed and was party to how Adam ended up in death row. So when women connected to Bob go missing he’s sure Sarah is up to her old machinations.

Many will love the twists that this sequel sets the reader up for but it’s doubtful they can guess as to just what is about to happen. And that, along with even stellar writing and intriguing new and old characters make The Perfect Divorce as guaranteed to thrill as The Perfect Marriage. A note for those who skip the acknowledgements- you’re going to want to read these.

Very well written and I enjoyed the second book even more than the first title, I love a deranged FMC! Jeneva Rose is becoming a favorite author and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next in Sarah’s perfect little world…

This book was addictive and full of betrayal and jaw dropping twists that will have you questioning everyone. Between a reopened murder case, a missing woman, and a bitter divorce battle, the tension is next level. Sarah and Bob are playing dirty, and watching it all unfold is wild. OH MY GAWD! I loved The Perfect Marriage, but this!! THIS BOOK IS INCREDIBLE!! There is A LOT that happens, I don’t even know what to say without giving spoilers, but Sarah and Bob, wow, what a messed up match made in heaven, lol. I swear at the end of every chapter I had my jaw dropped or was gasping out loud. My poor dog was worried about me!! SO FRAKING GOOD. I’d give it six stars, but it won’t let me.

To say I was excited to read The Perfect Divorce is the understatement of the century! I loved The Perfect Marriage and had such high hopes for this next book. When I say that The Perfect Divorce blew my expectations out of the water, I mean it!! The queen of twists, Jeneva Rose, was back at it; crafting the most perfect sequel I could have asked for! The book starts 11 years after Sarah Morgan’s husband, Adam, was convicted of murdering his mistress. So much has changed and yet so much of the juicy, dramatic moments that surround her life remain! Sarah is one of those characters you find yourself rooting for no matter the circumstance! I could not put this book down, it truly had a chokehold on my brain from the moment I started reading! Jeneva deserves every star for this one! If it’s not on your tbr you must immediately add it! If you haven’t yet read The Perfect Marriage I would highly recommend you get reading, the Perfect Divorce comes out in April so you have time to catch up!

Jeneva Rose does not disappoint in this highly anticipated sequel. Sarah Morgan’s story is one that keeps you hooked from beginning to end, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. TPM & TPD are undoubtedly stories worth reading again and again, and recommending to every thriller reader looking for a fast paced and additive story.
