I think this was better than the first book! The story continues on in the life of Sarah Morgan to see what happens next. Excellent and twisty story that finishes off with a potential for the story to continue onto a third book! Thank you to the publisher, author and NetGalley for an advanced digital copy of The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose!

The Perfect Divorce is a psychological thriller that follows a seemingly amicable divorce between two exes—until things take a dark turn. What starts as a peaceful separation quickly unravels into a twisted game of manipulation, secrets, and mind games, leaving both characters—and the reader—questioning who is really in control.
This book was a wild ride. While some parts felt predictable, the journey there was anything but boring. The tension builds as the two main characters, both equally unhinged in their own ways, go head-to-head in a battle of deception. Just when I thought one was the craziest, the other would up the stakes. It kept me hooked, constantly wondering—who was actually the most unhinged? If you love messy thrillers with crazy characters, this one is worth the read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Sarah and Bob Miller's marriage is on the brink of collapse, and the fallout is bound to be disastrous. When Sarah finally asks for a divorce, it marks the beginning of a perilous journey for both of them. Bob knows the dark truths Sarah has kept hidden, and he's fully aware of her dangerous capabilities.
For those who haven’t yet read The Perfect Marriage, be warned: spoilers ahead. Sarah has already committed one unspeakable crime—she framed her first husband, Adam, for the murder of his mistress, only to later defend him in court. Bob, despite being asked to dispose of the incriminating evidence (the murder weapon), chose to keep it instead, knowing full well what Sarah was capable of.
As the tension between Sarah and Bob escalates, the question remains: can they both survive the devastating consequences of their past actions, or will they both become victims of their own ruthless decisions?
The Perfect Divorce takes everything readers loved about The Perfect Marriage and amplifies it, proving that sequels can sometimes outshine their predecessors. Jeneva Rose has crafted another unforgettable thriller, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store next.

This was an amazing sequel to her debut novel. Definitely worth the wait for those of us who were drawn in by the original story. I wasn't sure where she'd take it after reading the first but the queen of twists has done it again.

As a fan of Jeneva Rose’s twisty thrillers, I was excited to see that a sequel to one of her best sellers “The Perfect Marriage” was coming. I got my hands (and eyes) on an advanced copy of “The Perfect Divorce” and it had me hooked.
In “The Perfect Divorce”, Sarah Morgan, a successful attorney is back. It’s years later after she defended her then husband, Adam Morgan in court after being accused of killing his mistress. This time Sarah has discovered her new husband and father of her child, Bob Miller has cheated on her and immediately files for divorce. New evidence has been found in Adam’s case while Sarah and Bob struggle for custody of their daughter. Among that evidence, the woman that Bob cheated with has gone missing and more cases with both of them are now open. Does Sarah Morgan have a type?
While reading this book, I loved the different back and forth of perspectives and trying to figure out which details that each character knows. Two ruthless and dirty attorneys are spotlights in “The Perfect Divorce” and they don’t waste any time in getting their hands dirty. This was a quick read and I flew through all of the shocking revelations among competitive spouses like I did while reading the first book. If you love things like true crime documentaries, I’d definitely recommend it. I look forward to how Jeneva Rose continues this story.

This book was truly entertaining. The plot twists were done so seamlessly that even when I thought I knew what was coming next I was way off in the best way ! I could not put this book down and am eagerly anticipating that next book from Jeneva Rose.

I don't know why I thought this book would end differently than I wanted it to. While it was pretty predictable, it still threw me for a loop, and I could not put it down once I started it.

Like many books that become sensationalized via TikTok but lack the true depth and design that frequent readers desire, The Perfect Marriage fell flat for me. Riddled with plot holes and given an ending that felt more like giving up.
However, let’s leave the first one out of this because this was REMARKABLY better. It still lacked real depth and intrigue but the plot was fun and it moved forward in an interesting way that felt complete. I liked that Rose used this sequel to fill in some of the gaps that were desperately needed from the first book.
It’s ten years later and the town is still dealing with the repercussions of the first murder. Sara finds herself being cheated on once again and what results is another disaster compounding on the first.
Rose tries to give Sara some depth by spending some pages talking about she’s a reformed mother who works in charity now, but after the first one we all won’t be fooled again. The ending to this one was more tolerable because I went into it expecting Sara to be the mastermind. There were still some elements and twists that surprised me and kept me entertained.
3.5 stars. Popcorn thriller fans will enjoy this one. I’m sure of it.

Sarah Morgan is back and this is the rare time when sequel is better than the first book.
The books starts wrapping up where we left off in The Perfect Marriage. We then go on a wild ride connecting the two books while learning about Sarah’s new life as a wife and mother.
Each chapter is told from a different characters POV, which kept this book a fast paced page turner. We hear all the different angles of the story without knowing exactly what is going on. Everyone has their secrets that will be revealed.
Thank you to Blackstone Publishing for the ARC .

This is one of those cases where the sequel is better than the original and makes you hate that you finished a book so fast! I absolutely loved this and from the ending it sounds like there is a third book in the works
Did Sarah Morgan do it? did she not? She will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat the whole time but the end will be worth it!
Thank you to netgalley for this free advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

The shocking sequel to Jeneva Rose’s multimillion-copy bestselling thriller, The Perfect Marriage. The Perfect Divorce was just as suspenseful and riveting as the first book.

This was another fun read from Jeneva Rose! This was definitely a quick read, kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I will say I did not enjoy it as much as the perfect marriage. I wasn't super invested in the other side characters and there was a lot of shifting perspective going on. You also will need to suspend a lot of disbelief about the entire justice system. But otherwise! Very fun. I'll give it a 3.5 rounded up.

Anne and Pam were being a bit weird and might be the ones to finally bring Sarah down in the next one. Man, that woman is diabolical. I want to know what she looks like. We never hear about her upkeep- manicures or highlights or makeup- it has to be such an important part of her image maintenance though:.

Rare case here: the sequel is better than the first. The story continues and it just gets deeper. I was hooked again. I loved reading and trying to come up with what Sarah’s next move is. Thankful to have gotten a chance at an early copy!!! Get ready for a book that you won’t put down.

The Perfect Divorce picks up right where the Perfect Marriage left off. Sarah Morgan and her husband are in the middle of a divorce- because can you ever get someone’s trust back after being cheated on? When a girl goes missing, Sarah’s ex believes he is being set up. How can he prove it wasn’t him. Or was it?

📚ARC REVIEW 📚
The Perfect Divorce⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This story takes place 11 years after Sarah Morgan, a former high-powered attorney, defended her first husband, Adam, against the charge of murdering his mistress. Since then she has moved, starting a new family with her husband, Bob Miller, and daughter. She’s also changed jobs and now everything is going the way she always planned. Or is it? When Sarah finds out about Bob’s affair, she wastes no time in filling for divorce. She can’t believe this is happening again but this time it won’t be like the last.
I was so excited when I got the email for this arc and it did not disappoint! I loved that the past characters were back but also the new ones that were brought in. Sarah’s character is one that you hate to love. She’s so sneaky and always ahead of the game. I loved the multiple points of views. I thought I had it figured out, but with that twist, I didn’t. This was such a great sequel to The Perfect Marriage.
This book will publish on April 15, 2025. Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for my advanced readers copy. This is my honest and voluntary opinion.

This book had me hooked for majority of the book. I think I read it in 2 days. Unfortunately, at the end, I just wasn't impressed any longer. But I have seen others who loved it, so it could be a me problem.

Sarah Morgan is a truly amazing and adaptive character. Following her through her second story and seeing what she is capable of has kept me captivated. Jeneva Rose always does a great job of telling a story and keeping it suspenseful. I am so grateful for the opportunity to read The Perfect Divorce early.

This book delivers twisty, shocking suspense that had me on the edge of my seat. The story is filled with unexpected turns and complex character dynamics that make it even more thrilling. All I will leave you with is, how the bleep did she manage to outdo The Perfect Marriage?!?!
This one had me turning pages as fast as I could and I felt like I was on such a thrill ride. Rose made sure to give me more than enough whiplash on this ride too.
I won’t give anything away but if you read one book in April, make sure it’s this one! This gem comes out on 4/15/25 and I cannot recommend it enough.
