So there was two romances in one book which I feel like I would have liked to know before having picked this book up only because I struggle to separate the two story lines. That aside I did eventually figure out who was who and get things straight and was really enjoying what I was following so far. There was a main romance between the real estate broker Danica and Dr Mateo when Danica finds out her ex was cheating on her she love for some fresh air and runs into Dr Mateo and his pet pig and thus the romance was formed. So it is clear that Dr Mateo was falling fast and hard for Danica but because of her recent heartbreak it was hard for her to open up a bit and it was interesting seeing how that played out and I was pretty satisfied with how it ended. Then there was a secondary romance which I wished was a separate bit because of the confusion I kept having but overall it was a pretty cute little romance and it was heartwarming seeing how her son was opening up with these new people and the cowboy life. Overall this is a pretty good book I really enjoyed it.

Big Sky Bachelor by JoAnna Sims is a romance that begins in the most non-romantic way: Danica Brand is a high-powered realtor in California who has established an empire, along with her fiance, Grant. She had designed their home, which was a showplace, and life was good. Until Danica discovered him with his twenty-something girlfriend, a Farah Fawcett look-alike, who apparently was pregnant. She gave herself a week to mourn after which she realized she wasn’t really losing much and she took off to the family ranch and her two sisters in Montana. She had helped design the business and assisted from afar. She hadn’t been home in years, but she needed her sisters now.
Of course she met a man; a doctor who was apparently the heart-throb of the area. She basically took him off the market. But, she wasn’t ready. She still had to sort the mess that was her life in California. Grant was not being cooperative, to say the least. He actually believed he had contributed, when really she’s carried him. Meanwhile her relationship with Matteo Katz and his pet pig, Lu Lu, was getting deeper. She didn’t know what to do. She went back to LA to face Grant in person and ended up giving up more than she wanted to but became a wealthy woman in the process. There is so much more to this book than this romance and end-of-romance. There are people and things. The plot was good, the characters, divine. Danica and Matteo perfect together. Not a light-hearted read, but a satisfying one.
I was invited to read Big Sky Bachelor by Harlequin Romance. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #Netgalley #HarlequinRomance #JoAnnaSims #BigSkyBachelor

A fun and sweet cowboy romance. It is a quick read. Matteo melts my heart. A perfect book boyfriend. Danica was great but she did have some issues that made her not be able to love Matteo the way he would have liked for a while. These two make a cute couple. I love Lulu! How can you not! Enjoy this sweet cowboy romance!

Big Sky, Montana – Present Day
As a realtor to the rich and famous in Los Angeles, Danica Brand thought her life was perfect—until she discovered that her fiancé cheated on her. He didn’t see anything wrong with what he did, but Danica needed to get away, so she returned home to her family in Big Sky, Montana for a visit. Shortly after arriving and getting reacquainted with her sisters, Danica runs into Dr. Matteo Katz, who is currently billed as the town’s most eligible bachelor. He also owns a beloved pet pig named Lulu, and Danica is soon falling for both. However, she isn’t sure where her life is going now, while Matteo is looking for marriage and a family. Will their romance be over before it can barely get off the ground?
Meanwhile, in a secondary plot, romance writer Journey arrives in Big Sky and is staying at the Brand rental property. She is stuck on completing her next romance novel after reading too many bad reviews of her first book. However, cowboy Cody is giving her ideas. Neither are looking for love, but Cupid may have other ideas.
Both Danica and Journey are going through a tough time now but in BIG SKY BACHELOR, they may have found their true love. Danica had her life planned out, including children, but her fiancé got ahead of her by having an affair with an office assistant and getting her pregnant. He is an awful person to Danica as she tries to untangle their years together. Montana is the perfect place to lick her wounds, and Matteo is the right man for her to get into what she sees as a safe romance. That is until she realizes he wants more than a fling. He’s not trying to push her, but she must be fair to him. After all, she might decide to return to California.
Journey is a single mother to a ten-year-old boy and he, along with her mother, will be joining them soon in Montana for a few weeks of vacation. In the meantime, she needs to get started on her next writing project or she will just be a one-hit wonder in the publishing business. Cody intrigues her and she soon learns more about him. But how could he, a cowboy who could attract any woman, be interested in her? Journey just might be surprised…
I would classify BIG SKY BACHELOR as a sweet romance as the lovemaking is behind closed doors. It’s clear Danica comes to care for Matteo, but she has to deal with her future first. For Journey, she has to overcome her fears of writing and her fear of falling in love. Will these two women find love—and a future with the men they fall in love with? Find out the answer by picking up a copy of BIG SKY BACHELOR.

Two romances in one! The main story revolves around Danica Brand, a top realtor in LA, and hometown doctor Matteo Katz. When Danica discovers that her long-time fiancé and business partner has been cheating on her, she heads home to Montana to regroup. Hurt, angry, and confused, the last thing she expects is to be bowled over by a handsome doctor and his pet pig.
I loved the first meeting between Danica and Matteo. His pet pig, Lulu, knocks her down, but it is Matteo who is down for the count. He's pretty smooth in asking her out, though it helps that she is equally taken with him. Their connection is quick and strong, and I enjoyed seeing them get to know each other.
This book was a bit unusual in that the man falls fast and hard instead of the woman. Matteo thinks long-term and permanent from the beginning and must frequently remind himself to slow down. Danica is just as drawn to Matteo, but the drama of trying to disentangle herself from her ex makes her wary of committing again so soon. She also believes she will return to LA rather than stay in her hometown.
I loved how Matteo supported Danica through the drama of dealing with her ex. She is very independent and initially tries to keep that part of her life separate. I liked watching her learn that there is strength in accepting help. Being around Matteo and her family also helps Danica look at her life and realize that she wants to make changes, but will it be enough to keep her in Montana? I loved the ending and seeing how it all worked out.
The secondary romance involves a visitor to the ranch and the cowboy who works with the horses. Journey is a single mom and romance author looking to break through her writer's block. Having written a cowboy romance that had some less-than-stellar reviews, she's looking for inspiration and authenticity for her next book. She's immediately taken with Cody, a former rodeo star who works on the ranch. I enjoyed his no-nonsense attitude and how it helped her through her difficulties. Neither expected the feelings that grew between them. Cody won her heart even more with his connection with her son. I liked these two and hope to see them again in future books.

This book is the latest addition to the Brands of Montana series, focusing on Danica, one of the Brand triplets. After her boyfriend turns her life into a cliché, Danica retreats to her family ranch to rediscover herself. There, she finds herself drawn to Matteo, the charming local doctor. This beautifully written and heartfelt love story will have readers rooting for Danica and Matteo to find their happily-ever-after. As a delightful bonus, the story also features single mom Journey and her sweet romance with Cody, a former rodeo star who now works with the ranch horses.

Danica Brand is living the dream in LA as a top realtor. She finds her fiancé and business partner has got the receptionist pregnant. She returns to the family home in Montana to find out where does she go from here. She meets Dr. Matteo Katz the current much eligible bachelor. They meet when Matteo's pet pig knocks her down. She is only in town for a small amount of time; but they are very drawn to each other. As Danica is trying to get her former fiancé out of her house and business she is spending time with Matteo. Matteo has never been as drawn to a woman as he is to Danica. Wonderful story.

Big Sky Bachelor is the newest installment in the Brands of Montana series. This story follows one of the Brand triplets, Danica, and her quest to find out who she really is when her boyfriend turns her life in to one big cliche. Needing to get away from the drama, Danica returns home to the family ranch and soon finds herself falling for the hot local doctor. This is a well written and very sweet love story that gives you all of the feels hoping that Danica and Matteo can make it work. A cute bonus is the guest at the ranch, single mom, Journey, and her budding relationship with former rodeo star, Cody who works with the horses on the ranch. Fans of Hallmark movies will settle right in and love this book!
