I read this book many years ago, and I was excited to check out the latest addition. In it, Meyer lays out numerous tools to help readers combat the negative thoughts the enemy uses to try to steal our peace of mind and joy. For those struggling with worry, doubt, and other similar emotions, this is definitely a book to check out. It is full of practical suggestions and biblical truths. Meyer includes numerous personal struggles and experiences, which makes the book even more relatable. She explains how she used the tools in this book to transform her own mindset, which involved learning to focus on God's truths. Many people don't realize how much our thoughts impact us on a daily basis. The enemy does, and that's why he uses them to try and do battle with our minds. Books such as this are helpful in learning to "let go, and let God."

I really enjoyed the 30th anniversary edition of Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. I’ve read a few of her other books, but I never got around to this one, so I was super excited to grab the eARC. As a Christian dealing with depression and anxiety, this book hit home. It’s full of powerful stories and scriptures about leaning on God and truly embracing the idea of “letting go and letting God.”

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer is a book every Christian should read annually. This was my third time reading it and it gets better with every read, The updates in the 30th Anniversary Edition provided even more insights to this gem of a book. Our thoughts have a great impact on our lives and destinies, the devil knows this and wages war in the battlefield of the mind with negative, limiting and wilderness thoughts and mindsets. We must deliberately enforce the victory Jesus won at the Cross in our minds, by allowing the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to transform our minds. These books helps us with practical insights towards winning in the battlefield of the mind.
I was so glad to get the 30th Anniversary Edition from FaithWords via Netgalley. All opinions expressed are mine

A new cover and new edition but same great insight and wisdom. This may be an updated version celebrating 30 years (my goodness, I remember reading the original while still living at home with my parents), but Joyce’s wisdom in how to overcome our negative thoughts and not just get rid of them but replace them with what God’s Word says about us is still just as vital today as it was 30 years ago.
