Very joyous, this is like reading a sugar high! Lovely bright illustrations and a positive message about making the most of each and every day. Loved the fun use of environments, fantasy and real-life and how the text played on these pages. I think this book would make a great 'start of the day' read to get you ready to take on the world and maybe the odd dragon too...

Oh this book is SO fun!!! I taught preschool for five years and have four kids of my own, and I haven't read many books as darling as this! My kids asked to read it over and over again! A great kids book to add to your classroom or home bookshelves. Wonderfully done Layla!

This is a fun book, it reminds me a bit of “Oh the Places You’ll Go” with predictable rhyming and imaginative things and places. Kids will have fun discovering what silly thing happens next in this lighthearted fun story.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebook kids for allowing me to review a copy of this book.
We just loved the wacky rhymes and fun characters, the bright colors and illustrations were fantastic! The imagination ran wild in this fun laugh out loud book, excellent for children
This book was utterly adorable and, honestly, magical! I have nothing bad to say about this book, I only have good notes.
1. The rhyming scheme of this book was absolutely on-point, and definitely had a Dr. Seuss feel to it (this is a great thing for young readers). The rhyming allowed the book to flow really well, and added to the fun.
2. The creativity of the author is impressive and shines through in the writing. The author managed to choose a bunch of random activities and tie them all into one book, while still having the story make sense. This worked really well, and it is apparent that the author knows what they're doing.
3. The goal of this book (from what I gathered) is to make an adventure out of every day. You can go out and do a multitude of things, you just have to have the zeal to explore the world around you and interact with it. This is such a good thing for young readers to see in their books, as it will inevitably inspire them to be adventurous in the world, and get excited about things.
4. Lastly, the illustrations perfectly capture the book's magical qualities. The illustrator took the writing and converted each sentence into a corresponding illustration. The way color, light, and depth was used was awesome, and engaged the reader, from front cover to final page.
Bravo!!!
Today Is a Wacky Wow, Squiggly Giggle, Noodle Caboodle Day shows how we can make the most out of each day. The book gives silly examples, but the thought still stands. I think emerging readers would be able to attempt this book on their own, but it would also make for a good pep talk book. That art is whimsical and fun!
