This book really spoke to me as someone who has been going to the doctor repeatedly with various symptoms and being told there's nothing wrong while knowing deep down that I don't feel right. The way Nicole explains each of the pillars, how they connect and work and how to get them working optimally is great and the book contains lots of useful tips and information for getting started on a healthier journey. My only criticism is that some of the information went over my head as someone who doesn't easily understand all the science of the body, so I was constantly finding myself going back to remind myself what different terms meant. Regardless, I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to learn about functional medicine.
