This book was so good! Kris and Loch were so easy to love and fun to watch form such a deep relationship. This book was so romantic and brought up a lot of emotions but it was also so real to show struggles that we all feel in real life. This book made me happy and giggle, then cry and think hard, and you know when a book makes you feel every emotion and back… it’s amazing! I loved watching the previous books characters grow more and that it was Coals turn to take care of his brother and help him the way Kris did in his book❤️ I’m so ready for Iris and her story!!!

Yes I loved it. Yes seeing Kris finally have to let go of this massive wall around him was adorable. Yes he needed someone to call him on his shit almost as much as Coal does, and Loch will give him that. I liked that this book was almost less about their romantic connection, and more about finally allowing themselves to be happy in their own body. I would've loved Loch's POV through some of these stretches because he was very much on his own growth journey too. The romance in this book was a hard-fought romance (at points too hard-fought tbh) because it had to break through both of their guards and hangups, in addition to the joy theft of it all and the suspicions and guilt therein. I think all the doubt and uncertainty around it led to them saying their I love you's WAY too quickly, but it also made it powerful to get to it and see them finally being able to be themselves with each other and not be on the defensive. There were so many strong positives in this book and Sara Raasch has gained a reader of her new adult romances for many to come.
This book did also have more things that I wasn't as big a fan of, I'll give them a quick bullet point list.
- The printed accent of the Irish characters was...... a lot. I think it would've been great in points, give a little "when his emotions are heightened his accent gets thick enough to chew" or whatever, but for every stretch of dialogue was a lot.
- Malachy wasn't interesting in the slightest. In the first book, Kris and Coal's dad was an interesting villain. He was greedy, and punitive, and manipulative, but at the core of it all, he was working toward a cause. It was a bad cause and his methodology was downright evil, but he had a point to him and his actions, and that made him more interesting to watch. Malachy was like generic capitalist villain, he could've been replaced by a cardboard cutout of a Wall Street banker.
- Sort of a subset of the last one, but one of the things I liked about Nightmare Before Kissmas was the holiday politics, not that it's the most fleshed out or logical world, but it was still an interesting aspect. Having the holiday politics be under the eye of the non-POV MC made it so all that was happening behind the scenes from us, we weren't in the meeting with the allies Loch had, we weren't having the interactions with the public that Loch was, we had no way of knowing the history of the holiday like Loch did, Kris was on the outside of a lot of it and as a result, so were we, so that whole political aspect of the book felt like it was told and not shown.
So yeah! Not as good as Nightmare for me, but still an incredibly solid book, I desperately want this series to continue. I feel like there's so much left in this world to experience.

This was one of my most anticipated reads for this year and let me just say IT DELIVERED. Sara is the queen of romcom and I absolutely ADORE this world!

I loved Nightmare before Kissmas, but I do believe Kris’s story is even better! This series is so much fun. How in the world does a silly holiday town romance have me in tears 😭? Seriously, there is some secret sauce in these books that give you all the feels!
When Kris is sent to Saint Patrick’s castle to find out if the irish holiday has been stealing Christmas joy, Kris has to choose between his duty to his family and his attraction to annoyingly hot St Patrick’s day Prince, Loch. Sounds silly right? And yet it’s exactly the punch in the gut this people pleasing, duty driven, overthinker needed to read.
“You’re afraid of people leaving you, but you aren’t showing up for yourself, Kris.” Ouch! and that line is just the tip of the iceberg.
Coal, Iris and Kris are one of the best found sibling trios I’ve read. Part of what makes this book so endearing is their unwavering support for each other. Seeing Coal and Iris show up for Kris the way they do is such a reminder of how to support those we love when they are really going through it, and boy does Kris go through it in this book!
For he and Loch to have a chance Kris has to come to terms with taking up space and living for his own happiness. Sometimes those are two of the hardest things we can do.
If a hot Irish artist and an uptight cinnamon roll with a top knot doesn’t sound delightful this St Paddy’s day, I don’t know what does.

éire go brách! thanks to Libro.FM for the ALC copy 💚
You guys, I loooooooved this book so much. I love Kris with all my heart, he is my soul brother that deserves to protected by all costs and I felt so seen by all of his anxieties and insecurities in this book. I absolutely adored the dynamic between Kris and Loch and the chemistry between these two characters was absolutely insane and had me sweating during certain scenes.
But most of all, this book had me so deep in my feelings. You know a book has a profound effect on you when you’re highlighting passages to send to your therapist because you just feel so seen.
I HIGHLY recommend listening to this book on audio as the narrator, Dylan Reilly Fitzpatrick did a fantastic job. His Irish accent was so well done, he was so great at differentiating between characters, and he truly gave so much emotion in his performance.

Thank you to Bramble for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Magically filling a library study room with tinsel is an appropriate way to get back at someone for stealing the room when you had a reservation--right? Maybe not when that someone is the heir to St. Patrick's Day and it causes an inter-holiday incident. Now is the perfect time for Kris, a prince of Christmas, to travel to Ireland to apologize since someone is stealing magic from Christmas and the only clue left behind is a shamrock. As Kris spends time with the St. Patrick's Day royal family and the heir, Loch, he realizes there is much more to the holiday than he thought. And there is much more to Loch than disregarding study room schedules. Can Kris figure out who is the magic thief without getting his heart stolen too?
I was overjoyed to return to the Royals and Romance world just a few months after reading The Nightmare Before Kissmas. I adored Kris and Loch! I love how Sara Raasch incorporates real-life issues into fantasy worlds. It makes the characters so relatable and the story that much more heartfelt. Also, the mystery did not resolve as I thought it would, and I was happy to be surprised. In the end, the way the story ended was much more powerful than what I had guessed. As in the previous book in the series, the characters are smart, witty, and just plain fun to read about. I planned my schedule to read this on St. Patrick's Day and it was the perfect way to recognize the holiday. I sincerely hope the author continues this series as I cannot wait to read more!

Sara Raasch delivers another banger!
Someone is stealing Christmas' Joy, and the only clue is a single shamrock. Is it the King of St. Patrick's Day or his unspeakably hot nephew, the Crown Prince? Kris journeys to Ireland to stay for their Holiday and investigate, while maybe getting a little lucky himself.

Thank you NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for this eARC in exchange for an honest review!
This book was so freaking cute! I loved every second of it.
This was very much an enemies to lovers story between the Prince of St Patrick's Day, Loch, and the Prince of Christmas, Kris. When they first met, the hatred they had for each other was so fun especially because they were obviously also attracted to each other right from the start!
The banter in this book was top tier! I was laughing all through the book. Not only was the banter between the two main characters fantastic, but the banter with all of the side characters was so much fun!
I can't wait for Iris's books, I hope its next!

Friends, GO LUCK YOURSELF, the second in the Royals and Romance series, is just delightful. The first book, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE KISSMAS, involved Nicholas (Coal), the Crown Prince of Christmas, and Prince Hex of Halloween and sketchy goings-on among the fall/winter holiday families. So cute! 🎄🎃
I must admit, though, a person of Irish descent, GO LUCK YOURSELF is my favorite! This one involves Kristopher, the spare prince of Christmas, and Crown Prince Lochlann Patrick of St. Patrick’s Day, who should be the holiday’s king except for the whiskey tycoon/king, his Uncle Malachy. Now, it seems, St. Patrick’s Day is the problematic holiday - but is it Loch or Malachy causing the trouble? Kris, trying to support his brother, who’s now king of Christmas, is determined to find out. 🥃
But then he meets Loch, whom he’d already “run into” at college, and oh. Uh, yeah. OH… And the enemies-to-lovers hi jinx ensue. However, for all its whimsy, this book is also deeply thoughtful. Each in their own ways, Kris and Loch are creative artists deeply bound to their art and to their holidays, and they each experience emotional anxiety. But they are so very strongly drawn to each other. For me, this is another beloved soulmates story. 💞
This book also has stellar side characters - parents acting weird, sisters and brothers acting protectively, devoted friends and staff, and the evil uncle. And such a clever plot. 🗺️
GO LUCK YOURSELF is full of angst and beauty and humor and banter and is also an incredible love story. As a person of Irish descent, I LOVED reading a romance about St. Patrick’s Day and Irish history and Irish lore and Ireland itself. ☘️
Thanks to @netgalley and @torbooks and @brambleromance for the early arc! This book is out now! 🌈

Sara Raasch's Royals and Romance series continues to charm me! After learning that someone is stealing Christmas' joy, and St. Patrick's Day as the suspected culprit, Kris agrees to research the holiday by serving as an ambassador to their celebrations. The problem? Prince Lochlan Patrick is the fellow Cambridge student he's been having issues with lately. But the bigger problem? The crackling attraction between these two princes. An enemies-to-lovers tale that shows how first impressions aren't always accurate, Go Luck Yourself was funny and steamy. I can't wait for (hopefully) a book three!

While I liked the main couple of the first book more (team Coal x Hex), I love Kris more as a character. The abandonment he feels, the denial of his own anxiety and mental health struggles, him in denial thinking he HAS to love our queen the easter princess because that is what's expected of him as the 'spare'. He is a very damaged second/spare child and I find that much more interesting from a character perspective.
I'm not sure how I feel about the love interest, but I think that is intentional. Sometimes I think the man is so sweet but like half the time I want to wring his neck. As with the other book I am not a huge fan of the political drama that is going on BUT it was easier to stomach the second go around. I'm not sure if it's just written a bit better, less present or I just got used to her writing, but it was just easier to get through. Kris isn't as wacky or fun as his brother (something I loved about Coal) but that's okay. I do love that they did make some appearances in a way that shows us they're doing okay BUT didn't take over Kris's story.
Overall, it's a good continuation of the universe and I'm not mad about it. I'd love for a book three with our Easter Queen as the main character. She's really the brains behind all these dumb queer boys and I love that for her.

Kristopher Clause, the spare prince of Christmas, has one job: investigate the mysterious theft of Christmas joy. His search leads him to St. Patrick’s Day and its rebellious crown prince, Lochlann Patrick, who wants nothing to do with Kris or his mission. But as they clash over their respective holidays, tension is in the air & sparks fly in ways neither of them expected.
This story blends holiday charm with an engaging romance, magical realism/fantasy elements. It also features snarky banter, reluctant attraction, undeniable chemistry, and a richly detailed world where holidays are ruled by royal families with difficult dynamics surrounding the holiday magic system.
The dynamic between Kris and Lochlann is completely electric, evolving from antagonistic tension into something deeper and unexpectedly tender. Their journey is as much about self-acceptance as it is about finding love, making the emotional stakes feel just as high as the romantic ones.
The story delivers plenty of humor, heart, and spice, supported by a cast of well-drawn secondary characters and a setting that feels both whimsical and immersive. Fans of festive fantasy romances will find this a delightful addition to the Royals and Romance series, but definitely read the first book before diving in!
Thank you so much to Bramble for my physical and eARC and to Macmillan Audio for my gifted audiobook!

Another fun romance full of angst, family, and love. I read this entire book in a day. Kris and Loch's story wasn't as funny as Hex and Coal's story, but their chemistry was off the charts. The prank turned into apology week was messy but oh so lovely and I love being in this world. I just need Iris's love story now and our friend group will have all found love.

Stellar world building, fantastic meet cute, lovable characters and a dash of magic. I love the effervescent witty writing and love that it still easily extends itself to the deeper emotions of inadequacy and sensitivity that Kris is feeling. The book flows so smoothly, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and it was a welcome break for me from the angsty dramatic and heavy books I had been enjoying recently. Loch and Kris’s chemistry, banter and snarky barbed remarks were sublime and perfect in setting the tone for a good animosity to love story.
The single POV is perfect for this book. Because it’s unfolding in Kris’s voice there is a lot we are not immediately privy to and that kept me hooked. There is the mystery of the missing Joy magic, the shite talking flirting and what is going on in St Patrick’s day as it pertains to the King. It was impossible to put it down, the story sucked me right in and kept a hold of me till I got to know everything. It also didn’t in anyway shortchange us from Loch’s experience his fear his hurt or his despair.
Slowly these two start melting towards each other. Kris with his big saviour heart needing to be needed goes first and Lochy soon follows when he sees the daily distress that Kris’s inner life is. Their first kiss is 🔥 and how protective they are of each other is just so incredibly swoony. That ending was sublime and perfect for them, no drama and all the angst reconciling. Positively lovely. Choices are honestly the worst, but you’ve got to make them and once you let yourself go and seize what you want it can be blissful.
Don’t wait for the holidays, this one came out yesterday so please read it.

I absolutely LOVEDDDD the first in this series, so it is no surprise that I absolutely loved this one as well ❤️❤️❤️ Dueling princes of holidays, like that is such a fun concept! Add in a little enemies-to-lovers and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a delightful little read! A feel good read!
Unfortunately there aren’t that many books about St Patrick’s Day 🤪🤪 and since I love holiday reads I was so happy to find this one!! It was so perfect for St Patty’s week 😁 The drinking! The accent! The food! The Irish festival!! I loved every minute of it 🩷🩷
I didn’t expect the prince of St Patrick’s Day to have an Irish accent for some reason 🤪🤪 but he did and it was absolutely necessary to the story! It also added a little bit to the banter as well 🥵🥵
I love when books include different forms of communication rather than just our story-telling! In this book we get texts between many different characters, which kind of shows another POV to the story in a way.
Thank you so much to Sarah Raasch and Tor Publishing Group for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review 💕

This cheeky love story of the Prince of Saint Patrick’s Day and the spare heir of Christmas is as amusing as it sounds. Sara Raasch has a real in imagining make funny snarky text chains between characters that are everything. I liked this story even more than the first one. Someone in Saint Patrick’s day has been stealing joy from Christmas, and it’s Kris’s job to find out who and how to get it to stop. Without it turning into an international incident.
This is a funny but heartfelt enemies to lovers story about stepping into your own power and grabbing hold of your self worth. Both Loch and Kris are struggling with some heavy burdens inherited from their families. They’ve got some great chemistry and spark between them. I appreciate how skillfully Raasch negotiates consent between romantic partners even when they’re struggling in other aspects of their relationships. They might be stressed out about political and emotional things, but they don’t let that turn them into toxic partners in such a vulnerable space.
Favorite Parts - The text chains, that paint scene *fans self*, the gift of notebooks and pens

A huge thank you to Bramble and Macmillan Audio for my gifted copy of Go Luck Yourself! This enchanting enemies-to-lovers romance is a sizzling and delightful holiday mash-up, bringing together the spare prince of Christmas and the mischievous crown prince of St. Patrick’s Day in a way that’s pure magic.
Picking up right where book one left off, this sequel had me hooked from the very first page. Kris, bless him, is just trying to figure himself out—but little does he know he’s about to do it in the most unexpected (and steamy) way. And let’s talk about the Prince of St. Patrick’s Day—he’s an absolute hoot and stole the show more times than I can count!
This book is hot, sexy, and packed with banter that had me grinning the entire time. I devoured every page, and it completely pulled me out of a month-long reading slump. If you love holiday romance with sharp wit, irresistible chemistry, and a dash of festive chaos, Go Luck Yourself is an absolute must-read!

Thank you to Tor and Macmillan Audio for an advance copy of the ebook and audiobook.
I adored Kris from the first book and I’m delighted to see this sad boy get a nice story for himself. I appreciated that this wasn’t the kind of enemies to lovers where one of them liked the other in secret at the beginning because definitely not. After awhile they found some common ground and if there was anyone who needed praise as much as Kris, I don’t know them.
I was delighted that the story had a smidge of mystery but left room for Kris to be a hot mess because he was going to do that anyway. Loch was a wreck too and they were sweet together. No one who has it together all the time would have gotten each other as well as they did.
Would definitely recommend!

I adored this book. Once again, Sara Raasch takes a cute and magical concept of the Prince of Christmas falling in love with the Prince of St Patrick's Day and makes it feel grounded and real. The journey the main character underwent was raw and painful at times, but really rewarding at the end. The romance between him and Loch was believable as well, and the characters had great chemistry (those spicy scenes? HOT.) The banter between the two, as well as between the side characters was top notch. It was great seeing the characters from the first book, as well as meeting some new ones. I really hope we get Iris's book next!

Go Luck Yourself is the second in Sara Raasch's Royals and Romance Series. The series revolves around the ruling families of various holidays who use the joy that people feel from them to create holiday magic. The premise may sound a little goofy and there is humor in the books, but also a lot of heart. The characters despite their supernatural associations are dealing with very real issues of abandonment and other family drama in relatable ways.
This story focuses on one of the Christmas Princes, Kris, who is visiting the St Patrick's Day Castle, officially to apologize for a prank, but also to discover if they are secretly stealing some of the Christmas magic. This is a enemy to lover story and he and the St. Patrick's Day Prince are fighting attractions to each other while they are squabbling. I found this novel to be even better than the first in the series and hope that we might see more in the future.
