This book is full of great information along with scenarios which help the reader understand the implication of certain estate planning decisions. I took off one star because it is geared toward residents of California, which I didn't know when I started to read it. Regardless, I found much of it valuable. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about the basics of estate planning and to readers in California who want to know more about the details and impacts of estate planning options in their state.

There are some great and important tips in this book but it is geared to readers in California since this is where the authors practice law. I don't live in California but now I feel I have a good sense of the questions I should be bringing to an estate planning attorney in my home state. This book is a timely read for me.
