When I tell you these books are so unique I mean it. It has spice, romance, plot twists, kinda a found family vibe. I feel like I’m reading a mystery book but not? I don’t know how to describe the concept of these books! So grateful I got this ARC. Thank you NetGalley, Berkley and the authors!

as soon as i got this arc i hurried up and finished the addicted calloway series, and jumped into dishonestly yours. having now read a good bit of krista and becca ritchie, i'll say that the writing has improved so much!!! the pacing was pretty slow and it took me awhile to get through a chunk of pages. i'm not as attached as lily and lo, but this was cute. thank you netgalley!!

AHHH so good!!!! The way Krista and Becca write their series is why they are my favorite authors. I love the way they don't mess with the main couple and instead make the plot the part that makes you guess. This series is so well developed and it just keeps getting better. The found family, mystery, and the way everyone has each others back just gets me. I have so many theories and can't wait for the last book. These books are so well written and twisty I can't wait to get a physical copy and annotate the heck out of it. The twins do it again!!!!

If you like the first book in this series, you'll like this one too since it's just a continuation of the plot but there was such a fun mystery in this one that I wasn't expecting and the twists and turns went crazy! KBR's writing style is so comforting and very bingeable so it's no surprise I finished this in a couple hours. the pacing of this book was well done and it was fast paced and kept you on your toes. And of course the found family is shown more from the first book, it's something KBR always excel at (the whole addicted/calloway/like us world and characters). It was messy, tension fuelled and made you laugh and giggle — you will want to pick this up when it releases (April 29 2025). Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

One of my favorite reads of this year, wow! I loved book one, but this one was even better. I was constantly on the edge of my seat in this one, especially after the cliffhanger at the end of book one. The plot was so interesting and well paced, I couldn’t put it down. It had the typical charm that comes from Krista and Becca’s writing, which I adore, with the to-die-for romance that is Phoebe and Rocky. Their relationship progression had me swooning, and I can’t wait to get more of them! This is also one of the very few books where I’m equally interested and invested in all of the characters, which just shows how well KBR writes their characters and develops them individually. Absolutely cannot WAIT for the next installment.

This book absolutely wrecked me in the best way possible. The writing is so addictive, blending raw emotion with humor in such a perfect way that I couldn’t stop reading. Phoebe’s journey is messy, emotional, and so real; watching her struggle with her past while trying to figure out what she really wants had me hooked. And the chemistry between her and Rocky is electric. Their tension is thick, and it’s so perfectly complicated that I couldn’t help but root for them through every twist. It’s a wild ride of love, growth, and real stakes, and I loved every second of it. This one hits you straight in the heart. I would eagerly be waiting for the final book.

This book takes you on a roller coaster of emotions!
Phoebe has grown up in the shadow of her con-artist mother, but everything changes when her best friend, Hailey, suggests a fresh start in a posh Connecticut college town. They promise to ditch the lies and live a straight, honest life. Of course, intentions are easier than reality, and their past isn’t quite ready to let them go.
Phoebe finds herself in a tricky situation, fake-dating, the charming and ultra-rich third son of a powerful family, all while secretly dating Brayden “Rocky” Tinrock—Hailey’s older brother.
As if navigating these relationships wasn’t enough, Phoebe’s mother reappears!
This book is packed with tension, plot twists, and heart-stopping moments!
I loved seeing more of the characters, and the layers of conflict and emotion kept me glued to the story.
The obstacles between Rocky and Phoebe feel real and intense!
I’m eagerly awaiting how it all concludes in the third book!
Thank you NetGalley and Berkley for this free ARC!

Krista and Becca have sucked me into the world of Victoria, CT and I do not want to leave! This sequel to Dishonestly Yours was full of twists and turns, and it is not even a mystery book. Phoebe and Rocky finally get their debut but of course it is not an easy ride for the pair. I loved getting more book time with the other siblings and really learning the dynamic of the family without the parents around. I do not want to spoil anything but I will say I read this book in 24 hours. The first 60% of the book hooked me, I did feel a bit of a lull after that though. It picked back up around the 90% mark, in my opinion! There was a bit of time jumping which is not exactly a negative, because it keeps the story moving, but at the same time, it felt unneeded. Overall 4.5 stars - the ending gave a mini HEA but we know the series is not done yet. There must be more coning to come! Thanks so much NetGalley for this e-arc.

This was an insane ride. If you've ever thought the middle books of a trilogy are the weakest, well there's no reason to have that fear here. The first half of the story keeps you on your toes. Every character is holding secrets and there's so much uncertainty and mystery lingering in the air. And that last half... the last half is genuinely a rollercoaster. There are so many twists, there is so much tension. I was sweating by the time I got to the last few chapters.
Destructively Mine spends the perfect amount of time furthering the plot and focusing on the cons, as well as developing the characters. Rocky and Phoebe have obstacles to overcome, she is fake dating someone else after all (plus a lot more other stuff!), but seeing their relationship grow despite all that was beautiful. And I'm happy to report their banter remains as entertaining as ever.
And the side characters. The side characters become such an integral part of the plot this time around and every single one of them shines in their own way. Hailey and Phoebe's friendship is still one of my favorite things about this series. At this time I will accept no criticisms of Trevor Tinrock, like that's babygirl. And Jake Waterford you have become so dear to me, I did not see this coming.
I have so much more to say but to keep it short and cute, there are chapters that will make you blush, laugh, and yes, cry. You'll see new friendships start to form as well as new romances, and every single one of them makes me giddy. The ending raises all the stakes and does an amazing job at setting us up for the conclusion. I can't wait to see how everything is wrapped up in book 3!
Also I'm firmly in the denial stage because what do you mean conclusion? We just met these characters! 😭

This book was so addicting I did not want to put it down!! It continues right where it left off in book one and I was sucked into the story completely. I love Phoebe and Rocky so much! They are perfect for each other. I also love the found family dynamic in the story. All 6 of them would go to great lengths to help each other out. They would do whatever possible to keep each other safe and that is how they show their love to each other. Phoebe and Hailey’s bond is also a big reason I love this book. It reminds me of my sister and I. Lastly that plot twist at the end has me sat and waiting for the next book. I loved loved loved this book!

Thank you NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
KBR did it again. If they know something, it's writing romance, and they've done it again. I loved seeing more of Rocky and Phoebe's relationship and how they managed to overcome all the obstacles in their way.
Seeing how the Tinrocks and Graves run an actual con was the highlight of the book for me—the way they worked together as a family and cared for each other.
And let's not forget the DRAMA! I was living for it throughout the entire book. It kept me hooked right until the end, and I seriously can't wait for the next book.
Destructively Mine will be released on April 29, 2025.
If you like the boy-obsessed trope, found family, and seeing con artists run schemes, I highly recommend this series.

No words, just emotions! This is one of the wildest books by Krista and Becca Ritchie. I couldn’t tear myself away—the twists, the tension, the cons—OMG!!!
Rocky and Phoebe are my favorite power couple; I fell in love with their dynamic. It’s a match made in hell (if you know what I mean).
A few thoughts about the book: the plot is well thought out, and the twists are insane in the best way. I loved every single character and their interactions. The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat. Reading this book felt like stepping into another world and becoming part of the story. It’s an exceptional talent for writers to evoke that feeling.

woahhhhhhh. i really wasn’t expecting a full fledged my stomach but im not complaining. loved the wrap up for this book and the constant flow!! there was never a slow point or boring section.
the ending… I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS WRAPS UP NEXT BOOK

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for providing this book, with my honest review below.
Destructively Mine had me a bit confused on its genre, it read at points like YA but then went into serious adult territory with its spice and some of the plot turns. What I’ve settled on is that this is reminiscent of a younger leaning soap opera, melodramatic and likely going to completely drive young adult readers crazy (in a good way) with its extremes.
Part of a series, I’d recommend reading the first book though there are flashbacks and recaps that help. That said this ends on a cliffhanger and is clearly meant to tell the whole story across the series. I enjoyed the parts about the cons and Brooke, Hailey, Rocky, and their families’ background, but those parts don’t make up the majority of the story as the intense relationships and the increasingly tangled web of issues is the focus.
Not for me in that it is too contrived and just too much, I can absolutely see young adults (by which I mean late teens and early 20’s, this one isn’t for kids) who like extreme turns and over the top romance being big fans, as this is passionate. Just be ready to commit to the series as this leads you along with no complete closure but several loose threads to follow in future books about these characters.

KBR has never me let down! Destructively Mine was overall such a amazing follow-up to Dishonestly Yours.I loved seeing Phoebe and Rocky messy and beautiful raw love. The plot is interesting it will keep readers hooked from start to finish. I am excited to continue this series in the future.

i’m at SUCH a loss at where i stand with this series. it simultaneously feels like the exact same story of the addicted universe while being something almost unrecognizable. i like how there was a bit more development of the world, cons, and characters in this book but the plot is still SO slow burn. questions are purposely left unanswered i understand, and the expansion of the cast of characters was nice to read about but now im just curious about all of them and where their stories will lead!! i think this has potential to blow me away but for now im a bit skeptical
