DNF on book one

I truly believe this series to be excellent, and I will recommend it to sci-fi readers who are more hardcore than myself. I couldn't track the timelines, but I did really enjoy the voice, the treatment of gender, and individual scenes that I understood. I just couldn't track the larger scope.

The second novel in Ann Leckie's Imperial Radch series. Ancillary Sword is an excellent continuation of the series, but one that takes a narrower perspective - it is by no means worse off for this, and it was interesting and engaging to learn about Breq dealing with her new situation.

An interesting, thought-provoking, and engaging read. A must for fans of sci-fi, and especially those who want a series that is a shot in the arm of the genre, injecting it with something new.
