Nothing is happening, and there are too many unnecessary details and history lessons and characters (multiple characters have names, nicknames, and titles that make it feel like there’s even more characters than there are). I keep finding myself spacing out and not even remembering what I just read. I’m super disappointed, because I loved the idea of a travel oriented historical romance, but this is not giving me wanderlust vibes at all.
