Janice Thompson does it again in the Little Red Truck Mystery series, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed from the first book. It had that mystery element that I wanted and was glad everything worked overall with the characters and storyline. It had that feel that I was looking for from Janice Thompson and had a great concept that worked.

Janice Thompson is one of my comfort authors--one I go to when I just need something light, cozy, and fuzzy. This one certainly fits that bill! I think the flaw for me here was just not enough sentence-structure variety; there were a lot of repeated phrases and telling vs. showing. So - it's fine! Clean and sweet, but not entirely my favorite read.

I do recommend reading the series in order, though it's not mandatory.

A delightful story that encompasses Multi generations and family building community. Such an inspiration to walk in the place God has me, doing what he's gifted me to do.

I was so very happy to see a sequel to this series.
I felt like it was coming back home again.
I loved this story of community, love, and romance even in your 80's. Thompson has done a wonderful job of making this a reality.
Timing is everything in life along with God plans.
I wanted to take my time with this book and savor it but I couldn't help myself. It was soooo good.
For me in this story Bessie Mae was my favorite character. Just absolutely adored her. She is perfect example for patience, kindness and love.
Bob is a different sort of character. I felt sorry for him in a way. He'd had a hard life. Life can sometimes make u you that way but it doesn't have to be. It is what you make of it.
And we can't forget the mystery part of this story. It was what kept me turning the pages.
5 stars from me for keeping these amazing characters alive. I won't forget these wonderful people anytime soon. They'll be forever etched in my heart.
