I ultimately found, even as a dot com baby and former IT exec, that I just didn't have the level of interest in this book needed to sustain me reading all the way through. It is well written and the author obviously knows his stuff but, for me, I found it difficult to maintain a connection with the text . . . this is more a result of my own past experiences, perhaps, and absolutely no fault of the author's. It really is a well written and highly informative book.

This great book was a real eye-opener. I learned a lot about who benefits and who is hurt by the net, whether they know it or not.

This book is a mix of scientific/business history which I enjoyed and an autobiography regarding the author which I did not like.
