This book was an unexpected masterpiece. I want to start by how wonderful the audio was. It was duet style and it added so much to the story. This book is about Diego and Isabel. In their timeline there is a pending pandemic and many catastrophic events have happened. There is time traveled involved as well
The romance is so sweet and the characters are well developed. There is also great moments of science fiction and suspense.

First reaction…. I just loved this audiobook, and the story, but let me gush about the audiobook, this was dual voices to perfection, let me explain, you have two voice actors, one male and one female, Noah Michael Levine and Erin deWard. And they both worked together so flawlessly that I really enjoyed this reading, I really believe that this audiobook spoilt other audiobooks for me, yes it was that good!! Noah was just a step ahead doing the different accents and male voices, oh I really enjoyed this audiobook.

The story is very mysterious, at fist I was lost with the way the book started, because it takes place in a strange place in the story, but then we go back and we learn how things happen, and let me tell you something… I fell for Diego, hard, I don’t usually read romance, but in this case, it goes further, who doesn’t like second changes? And that goes back to Noah again, he does a very sexy Spanish accent haha.

I really recommend this audiobook, I really loved it very much, and I cant wait to listen to what happens next, and I definitely want to read/listen more books by this author.

Thank you NetGalley and Rocky Mountain Press Audio, for the free AAC and this is my honest opinion.

Most people wouldn’t think twice about taking a second chance, but what if you were offered a third? Would you sacrifice your own life just to have a few more moments with the love of your life? *Crossing in Time* takes us on a time-traveling journey where two people risk everything—not only to save their world but to find their way back to each other. The story weaves through twists and turns, ending on a gripping cliffhanger. I loved exploring the dynamics between the main characters and how their relationships with others in the story added depth and intrigue. Their interactions felt genuine and brought an emotional complexity that kept me hooked. The narrators truly brought the story to life, drawing me in and allowing me to lose myself completely in their world. I was so captivated that I finished it in just two evenings, and I can’t wait to continue this series to see where their journey takes them next!

OK! Well, I just finished this one and I am an emotional wreck! WTH??

So…this is another NEW to ME author, and wow! What a wonderful surprise!
I absolutely LOVED this book!

Apparently the book was released several years ago, so I’m going to guess that the audiobook is now being released….and that is why I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy via #NetGalley…but I’m not sure.

What I DO know is that if you enjoy time travel, dystopian-type novels, love-hate relationships, saving the world from catastrophic disasters, visiting the future, and fast-paced action…well then, this one is NOT to be missed!

We meet Isabel, in the future, when the world seems to be falling apart at the seams…. She has just finalized her divorce, and her ex-husband is a complete jerk!
And then, as if by magic, she hears a voice from her past… Diego, her one true love in life. ❤️…

And that my dear friends is when the sh*t hits the fan! The world and everything in it blows up…literally…. And they are on a collision course with disaster.

Amazingly, when you truly love someone….well…Love Prevails!!

Once again, my heart was soaring in the clouds ⛅️… and then, just like that… a dagger to the heart… and you find yourself struggling for breath… and just trying to hold on…and hold out…for one more moment…before falling…falling…falling…!!!
😮🙏🏼🫣

AND, if you are lucky enough to LISTEN to the audiobook…well, it’s like you’re LISTENING to a broadway show being played out! The narrators were PHENOMENAL!!! 😮😮😮😮. The two of them talked and laughed and cried…TOGETHER…in each scene! It was refreshing…and amazing!!

All the stars for this wonderful production!! 5+++++

Time travel, alternate universes, and a love that lasts across it all? Okay; you’ve got me! Crossing in Time is a heart-wrenching sci-fi story about a pre-apocalyptic world and the lengths people will go to change the future. I think this is the second time that I’ve attempted to give this book a try. I’m very much a mood reader and the first time, I was honestly a bit overwhelmed. I’m not an apocalyptic-type-of-story kinda girl. Plus, this was written before the pandemic and I tried reading it right around that time. Anyway, giving it another go was worth it. There were things I liked and things I didn’t. Sometimes the relationships felt over-explained or forced? I’m not sure how else to put it. I also don’t know how I feel about the scenes of meeting young Diego. He has so much more patience than anyone else would've. I liked that this book was made for a more mature audience and the scientific jargon was believable. And I’m curious to know what happens next but I’ll have to wait a bit to jump back in.

I received a copy from the publisher via Netgalley for an honest review.

This was an overall exciting book and kept me mostly intrigued. There were definitely parts where I thought it was just a bit wordy and droned on. Other times, there was not enough real detail given just, "oh this is happening too in the chaos of the entire world falling apart!" I feel like this novel ended with WAY more questions then answers, although I am aware it is a trilogy, it is still a bit concerning. I do love that this novel/series has a lot of different genres and themes that I like reading about apocalyptic, time travel, epidemiology and so forth. Definitely kept me entertained and I am excited to pick up book number two!
