I didn't realize this was the second book in the series until about 5 chapters in, I finished it anyways and give it a 4/5 stars, I wish I knew the context of certain things but this book was interesting even without reading the first one. The characters were fun and the storyline reminded me of when I was a teenager and read my first YA novels that just sucked me in immediately.
