Well I gave Sweeter than sin a try after struggling with the first book in the series. However I loved the novellas and I figured give it ago. Adam is now running a local bar and struggling not only what happened to him years ago but the loss of Lana. Madison is full of seriously messed up men who no one really knows exactly who is really involved and as the story continues more and more dark, twisted, and creepy turns pop up.

Lana is back to put a stop to what she thought was over and done with. She has memory loss from that night, but she will do what she has to, to stop the men who have one nasty ring created for abuse and torture.

It was a dark and heavy read and sometimes you need those to break up the monotony of the HEA fru fru love stories. She redeemed herself with this one for me.

While I normally love Shiloh Walker's romantic suspense, this one didn't quite do it for me. This was a very dark book, and one I didn't find as enjoyable as her others. Adam and Lana were interesting characters, and the storyline kept me intrigued, but I just didn't like it as much as I expected. I hope that will change with the next one.
