While reading the story in December, I liked how the winter activities they took part in gave it a lovely and warm Christmas vibe. I love this author's works. I am very happy that I found her earlier this year! I'm hooked. Even though they fell in love quickly, it felt natural, and I really enjoyed their story. They simply were meant to be. I really enjoyed the epilogue as well.

Thanks to Marion De Ré and NetGalley, I was able to read this incredible e-ARC.

First of all, I love when I read books with FMC/MMC nurses. I’m a registered nurse myself so I love reading books with us 🤍 Even the way Ivy held get head high up and all so composed yet still so kind and caring and loving.. all a nurse’s qualities and I loved it

For those who don’t know, I love me a good grumpy x sunshine book. This was one of them. Zane is so grumpy and to see Ivy break down those walls slowly was very endearing. Before Ivy, he just wanted to be left alone on his snow farm with his dogs. After Ivy, he wanted nothing more than to be with her all the time and barely sit at home.. and the fact that he would always come home late and his sister and grandma would start teasing him was so funny to me

I don’t think I’ve given Marion’s books anything lower than 5 stars AND IT’S NOT BECAUSE I’M BIASED. It’s because she’s actually spectacular with her writing and each book is literally so special to me. They all hit home in one way or another

This book was so wholesome and cute. The banter, the bickering, the “dates”, the family gatherings, the helping at the hospital, the dogs therapy, the vet visit.. just everything about this book made sense and fit this season so well. It reminded me of a Disney movie that I will disclose soon 🙊

There’s no elemental magic in this book. But the atmosphere of this book felt so magical and lovely that I just didn’t want this book to end. The mother figure to the siblings was just what I wanted to read when I picked up this book. My boyfriend’s grandma died recently and she was like a mother to him so that brought some tears to my eyes

I really enjoyed this one. I think this one is one of my favorites by Marion De Ré. So cute and cozy and real and the title is really giving ❄️

I didn't want this story to end! Ivy and Zane had me laughing at their initial interactions, and then smiling as they let their guards down and became friends, and then I was sighing from their sweet romance and the chemistry and sparks zinging between them!

They both have some hard things from their past. Ivy had my heart aching for her and the pain she was feeling after being left at the altar. Poor girl. I couldn't even imagine. But I loved her spunk. I loved watching her get up and try to find joy and good in her life and taking the ups and downs as they came. She was a delightful character. Especially when it came to Zane. He didn't stand a chance with his grumpy personality when he meet sunshiney Ivy! Especially with all of that pink! IYKYK! *winks* She's my kind of gal. Wear all of the pink Ivy!!!

I loved the winter weather activities they enjoyed and I loved that it gave a sweet and cozy Christmas feel to the book while reading it in December. But I loved even more that I was snuggled up inside in the warmth and didn't have to experience the cold for myself. Win/Win!!!

I'm loving this author's books. I discovered her earlier this year and am so glad that I did! I'm hooked!!!

Content: Clean. Some sweet kisses and nothing further. Talk of being left at the altar on your wedding day.

Happy Reading!!!

Thank you Marion De Ré and NetGalley for this amazing ARC that i was able to read!!!
i had so much fun reading this perfect winter book right at the start of December. Something about it didn’t let me put it down and i just enjoyed it so much!!! Ivy and Zane honestly were so perfect for eachother. He may have been super grumpy in the beginning but being with Ivy even as friends in the beginning and throughout the book just made him melt and turn into this fun guy everyone use to see. they both had such horrible breakups but i think those breakups helped them see what they deserve and to never settle for anyone that just gives them the bare minimum. Zane and his farm of huskies were my favorite cause i truly would love to cuddle with them too!!! i sooo would recommend this book to anyone including it’s perfect for the winter season!!! ❄️🤍

The Honest Bunny Review:

Rating: 🐇🐇🐇 🐇 🐇 /5

THIS WAS SUCH A PRECIOUS WINTER ROMANCE.

I appreciated immediately being thrust into the thick of our story where poor Ivy is left heartbroken the day before her wedding. While still grieving the loss of her relationship, Ivy decides to still go on her honeymoon, coining it “aloneymoon.”

I really appreciated Ivy’s go-getter spirit and overall, very positive attitude during such a difficult time. It never felt like toxic positivity and genuinely was someone trying to do her best to make the best out of her circumstances. Ivy and I would be the absolute best of friends. Our glass is half full, we love pink, we love dogs, and we are both natural caregivers.

Now, you’ve always been told, never judge a book by its cover…or its tone…or its attitude. This is very true when it comes to our rugged but brooding MMC, Zane. He is extremely rough around the edges but is a secret softy. Green flags all around when he loves animals. I specifically wrote in my notes while reading about Zane and his struggles with Ivy, “So hot, so grumpy, so clueless.”

The connection between our two MCs was immediate and the tension was PALPABLE. I really loved tagging along as their relationship developed. I was a bit nervous for a “closed door romance” but Marion does a fantastic job. I do not feel like I was left wanting or anything was missing. I greatly appreciated Marion’s ability to effectively describe the environment and surroundings to make the reader feel immersed but not excessive.

I also had no idea this was a part of the Seasons of Love series where the first book features Ivy’s sister, Hazel. I definitely will need to back track and read that one so I can fall even more in love with Hazel and her French chef boyfriend Olivier. It does show that this book can be read as a standalone but after reading one book from Marion, I know that I will need to read all of them.

This was an advanced readers copy. As always, this is my honest and voluntary opinion. Thank you to Marion, Victory Editing, and Netgalley for this opportunity.

This adorable book is perfect for the winter season.

A very enjoyable, lighthearted romance set in a beautiful snowy landscape. Journey with our lead character to experience much of what winter vacations have to offer and the people involved behind the scenes.
This novel will make you smile and make you wish you had a pack of huskies to play with as well as warming your heart with a tricky romance. Perhaps a little predictable but still a good time to be read.

“Ski, Sparks & Serendipity” is a sweet winter romance.

Main tropes are:
❄️grumpy/sunshine
❄️small town
❄️winter romance
❄️slow burn
❄️closed doors (only kissing)

If you already read Paris, Pumpkins, and Puns, this book is about Ivy, Hazel’s sister. Her fiance left her before the wedding and she is going alone in the honeymoon vacation. Zane fills in for his brother as a ski instructor and that is now they meet.
Even if he is grumpy in the beginning, Zane starts spending a lot of time with Ivy and they quickly become friends.
Besides ski lessons, they go dog sledding (he has a husky farm), wine tasting, skating and to a New Year’s Eve party.

I liked their story a lot and even of they fell in love fast, it felt natural. They were just ment to be.
Also, I loved the epilogue.

Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I absolutely loved this book! It’s a perfect blend of romance, humor, and emotions, making it an enjoyable read from start to finish. The characters are wonderfully developed, with great chemistry between the leads. The story is engaging, heartwarming, and entertaining, filled with moments that will make you smile, swoon, and even laugh out loud.
This book is an amazing example of a closed-door romantic comedy, offering the right amount of sass, swoon, and sizzle. It’s a feel-good read that balances romance and humor effortlessly, making it a delightful escape into a world of love and laughter.
If you’re looking for a charming, funny, and heartwarming romance, this one is definitely worth picking up.

Really cute winter read! It definitely gave Hallmark vibes, and I wish we had more time to explore the characters themselves rather than having such a heavy focus on the romance. That being said, I think, as a fun holiday read, it definitely serves its purpose and is overall a great time. I'm excited to read Daisy's story in the future!!

Looking for the perfect holiday read? Look no further! Ski, Sparks, and Serendipity by Marion De Ré is everything you need to cozy up this season.

The story follows Ivy, who gets dumped right before her wedding. But instead of wallowing, she takes herself on her honeymoon—or should I say “aloneymoon” (how clever is that?). Cue a snowy escape, a hilariously grumpy ski instructor, and a whole lot of unexpected sparks.

This book feels like stepping into a Hallmark movie, with all the charm, humor, and heart to warm your winter nights. Mark your calendars—it’s hitting shelves on December 6th! Don’t miss out!

In a small Colorado town, just left by her fiance Ivy finds herself stuck on many adventures with Zane who is just covering for his brother with a broken leg. They both embody the contrast of a grumpy male and a sunshine female. In this story you will be finding joy and inspiration in a magical winter wonderland. Ivy and Zane's banter, chemistry, and hilarious moments create a breathtaking adventure that you won't want to put down.

I absolutely devoured this one in a day! I just couldn’t put it down! The story was so well developed and the romance was so so good! The slowest burn 🔥 and the grumpiest/ sunshine couple! LOVED IT.

Thank you to Netgalley and Victory Editing Netgalley Co-op publishing for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book was the feel good, cozy vibe I was craving. I was shocked to find I finished this book in two days, but I literally couldn't stop coming back to it. In other books I read this quick the love story can be rushed and not feel real. Not this one at all. Ivy and Zane were completely adorable but with plenty of raw humanity that comes from old wounds. I think I couldn't stop reading just due to cheering them on in their personal and relationship lives. But let's be real, the fluffy cuddle pups and snowy mountain backdrop are what cinched my love of this book. And now I'm forced to go search for all books by this author which I'm hoping will fill the hole this book left in my life. Grab this book and cozy in!
