This was a good read from Jon Fredrik Fikse and all his travels in the mid-east and then back to Norway. He has two current tales, well more than two but he has Ronny Wold as the first, and then Mina Lajani as the second because she's from Iran and has a lot of background that's hard to relate to! He has several people who are Founders and management that have decided to get rid of Ronny Wold as the leader of PPS since he is a womanizer and a person who is going to jail soon. He started the Pyramid in Norway and as it grew it gave them a lot of cash. Mina was in Iraq and had an awful life which she found pregnant and meaningless. When she got to Norway everything changed for her and she got to the place where she became someone who was almost the best sales person. The scenarios are a lot more than I can tell you so read this book for yourselves. It's really interesting and I recommend it.

This was a strong sequel in the Ponzi Game series, it had that element that I wanted and enjoyed the overall feel of this story. The characters had that element that I was hoping for from the first book and glad it worked overall. Jon Fredrik Fikse has a great style and was glad I got to read this.

Satire.
Take Trump's 2009 book Trump: The Art of the Deal and turn it into a fable worthy of Aesop set in the present day based in Norway. The story covers a lot about current problems and attitudes in the world today, including Sharia Law, war in Iraq/Iran, women's rights, growing up Muslim, and a scheme worthy of Bernie Madoff. Enter the world of stock trading, bluff calling, and greed on an epic scale.
Mina is the FMC and is from an Arab country where some of the most misogynistic aspects of the laws are part of this drama with its two timelines. Not sure that I fully appreciated the plot, but it certainly was different (even if full of triggers).
