This was an entertaining read. If you are looking for a Christmas romance that is fast paced than this book is for you.
I thought this book was okay. However it was a bit disappointing over all. The male lead was more like a spoiled child thru most of it until he explains his situation.
Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book. This book was an okay Christmas romance. This book is a second chance, enemies to lovers, Christmas romance. While I was reading this book I didn't know if I would have enjoyed this book. One thing that caught my attention while reading about a hotel billionaire and an elite wedding planner was a little bit of a mystery about who was sabotaging the wedding. I thought that was an interesting subplot within the book. It was a cute holiday romance that made you want to root for the characters to reunite.
I really wanted to enjoy this book but I felt like there was too much going on - the storyline felt a little rushed and it felt like there was a lot going on. Thank you for the advance copy.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this book!!
I LOVED this book! It was a bit slow in the beginning but then boom I was hooked!! I finished it in one sitting! My first by this author but will not be my last!!
🌟 Rating: 3/5
This book is a second-chance romance between Christian and Hope, but I found the story quite unrealistic. Who really goes back to someone who left them at the altar?
While the story had its cute moments, I struggled to see the progression of their relationship. They went from exes who hadn’t spoken to rekindling their flame way too quickly. It lacked the depth and development needed to make their reconciliation believable.
That said, for those looking for a lighthearted romance with a touch of Christmas magic, this book might be enjoyable. For me, it was okay but nothing extraordinary.
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
This is a quick, spicy, second chance and billionaire romance. The chemistry between the main characters is off the charts from the moment the meet up again, and as they try to solve a mystery together they can't keep away from each other.
I enjoyed this one and would recommend!
Sweet Christmas read. Hope returns to her hometown to plan a wedding for the stars which happens to take place at her ex-fiances resort.
Hope is likable and hardworking. Christian isn't grumpy, just focused. Why was Hope and her family so quick to move past all their history though??
The romance was OK, spice was moderate. I just feel this book could really benefit from another round of editing. There was some continuity issues, miss naming of the character speaking, and the constant italicized head talk was a distraction.
It had potential for sure, but wasn't quite there.
I don't really see Christian as Grumpy. He's a busy business man yes, but not Grumpy. I loved how Christian and Hope work together to figure out who is sabotaging the wedding and Christians hotel. Christmas with the Grumpy Billionaire, is a fairly quick read.
"Christmas With The Grumpy Billionaire" is a steamy holiday romance that follows Hope Anderson, a successful wedding planner, as she returns to her small hometown of Canterwood to plan a high-profile New Year's Eve wedding at the luxurious Evergreen Resort. There she's reunited with her ex-fiancé Christian Winters, now a brooding billionaire who owns the resort.
Loved it - Christmas, Billionaire, Weddings, Steamy Romance, Enemies to Lovers, this had it all. I loved the small town setting, the drama surrounding the celebrity wedding and the tension between the ex-fiancees. There was a sprinkling of drama, but not enough to make me stressed which is perfect for a holiday read. I enjoyed the characters - Hope and Christian and the supporting characters. It was sexy without being cringe. It was romantic and cheerful and just what I needed.
Can't wait to read more by Serena Dixon.
