The Ripple Effect: Healing Ourselves, Healing Our Planet is a fascinating look at the connections to nature and simple lifestyle changes. A look at the connections of today's stress-filled, need to be busy, convenience laden society. A close-up look at how things like stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, lack of connection to nature, poor sleep, and more affect our health so dramatically. What should be simple is so complicated. This book is so well researched, research and facts and info is so well documented, definitely a worthwhile read!

Thank you Koehler Brooks and a NetGalley for this ARC.
The Ripple Effect examines health from the Systems View of Life established by theories Fritjof Capre and Pier Luigi. The Systems View examines our role in living harmoniously with the planet and how, through the root causes we can heal ourselves, society and our planet.
Dr Revell takes our four pillars of health one step further by adding the fifth pillar, the Ripple Effect to create a systemic model of well-being.
This book packs a lot of punch, it provides evidence based facts in a well researched, simple and engaging manner.
I recommend this informative book to everyone who wants to embrace a healthier lifestyle.

An amazing book that reveals lesser known issues relating to heath and the environment. I was astonished by the way the author mentioned philosophers such as Descartes to explain the distinction between the mind and the body that people in general tend to label as mental or physical illness. And other authors and philosophers are referred to in this work, which is, my opinion, a very impressive book.
