Immediately upon discovering this book existed I was on board. And it was a fun romp. There wasn't a lot of plot. The plot is literally; dude hates his life and quits his job on the fly the night he's supposed to drive to his sister's mountain home in a snowstorm. When that inevitably goes poorly he's rescued by a polyamorous married couple of two hot loggers. The rest of the book is basically just spice interspersed with them trying to figure out if they can make this a full time relationship. It was cute and very spicy. But there really wasn't much plot. There was a point where I got a little bored. But overall this was pretty enjoyable.

When Nathan quits his job on an impulse and leaves town to go see his family for Christmas, he definitely wasn't counting on crashing his car in the woods and being rescued by Morgan and Fox Malone. He's now stranded and snowed in with these gorgeous strangers who seem to be eyeing him like he is candy...and strangely, he's getting all sorts of new and exciting feelings around them. An offer for shelter ends up becoming something that could finally give Nathan what was missing in his life and that could never put a finger on it. Christmas will never be the same.
What a way to start getting into the holiday season! I loved this unconventional love story and I was surprised not by the spice but how sweet it was too! You'll need a fan while you have a jolly good time falling in love with the fox, the lamb and the wolf.
The audiobook is narrated dual style by Stella Hunter, Stephen Dexter and Grayson Owens and what perfect casting this was! Stella is perfect as Morgan, a passionate but kinda cheeky logger/tattoo artist. Stephen's voice matches Fox, the lumberjack equivalent of a Norse god. He is commanding and vulnerable at the same time. Grayson gives you a wonderful Nathan - someone who's equally scared, befuddled and delighted to finally find the piece of the puzzle that was missing in his true self. All amazing performances!
I really had fun with this one! Don't clutch your pearls and give this throuple a chance. You'll fall in love with them too.
Thanks, NetGalleyt and Dreamscape for the ALC.
Content notes: this book is high heat, so be prepared for it (detailed content can be found on the author's notes). It also deals with PTSD. There are mentions of being deployed and hurt in action and also living in the foster system.

Hey oh! A lumbersnack romance indeed! ๐ฅ๐ฅ
I went in not knowing what this book was about and it was an enjoyable surprise! A MMF throuple love story.
After Nate quits his job he heads up the mountain to join his sister at her cabin for Christmas. On his way up he drifts off the road and almost dies from the cold but Morgan and Fox (a lumberjack couple) find him and take him home to warm him up.Will they be what is missing in his life???
I liked that this was super spicy but really delve into the emotions and trauma of the characters that made them relatable and endearing.
Thanks to netgalley and Dreamscape select for an alc

Okay Kayla please give me more. I am not ready to let this couple go. They are so cute together and they know how to communicate. I love the SPICE and the story too. Overall this was a must read book!

This was so cute even if it made me cringe a little this was one of my favourite things to listen to. The only downside was that I accidentally blasted this in the middle of lecture when trying to check my notifications other than that, it was amazing and made driving actually fun. I did want to smack fox though multiple times.

Another spicy holiday read from Kayla!!
Fox and Morgan are a married couple, they own a logging business in the mountains and live in a remote cabin. You get the feeling where this is going?
In comes Nathan who gets stuck in the snow and is rescued by Fox and Morgan. They invite him to their cabin to warm up!! It was defiantly warm, hot, spicy. ๐ฅต ๐ฅFox, Nathan, and Morgan has so much instant chemistry and love.
๐งNarrated by Grayson Owens, Stella Hunter, and Stephen Dexter. I love these three together and their voices really brought Fox, Nathan and Morganโs characters to life. Itโs a spicy audiobook and such a treat for your ears.
Hereโs a teaser quote to get you started:
โWhile it seems insane that my fate would be to crash into a snowbank three days before Christmas and be rescued by polyamorous loggers, here I am.โ
The dedication had me laughing.
โThis book is dedicated to anyone whoโs ever looked at a person in flannel holding an axe and said โyeah, Iโd let them split me in halfโโ

Every single star for this super spicy and k1nky MMF snowed-in holiday novella. Axes and Oโs is my new favorite book by this author and my favorite holiday read of the year so far! It was a fantastic listen!
Nathan was on his way to visit his family in the mountains when has a car crash. Married couple, Morgan and Fox, find him while engaging in some primal play while out looking for their Christmas tree. They bring him home to help him and they end up snowed-in together.
Nathan has been feeling pretty unsatisfied with his life and has quit his job. He was in a vulnerable and chaotic emotional state even before the accident. He is looking to find himself and this book gives him a double sexual awakening. I loved how open he was to trying new things in his journey of self discovery. Morgan was a supportive and switchy goddess. She was the glue that held everyone together. However, Fox was my favorite. I love a big tatted lumberjack, who is grumpy with a filthy mouth and a tragic backstory. Morgan is a lucky lady!
The spice was absolutely spicing in this audiobook. It was sooo hot. Morgan and Fox engage in a BD$M lifestyle. These three really have a creative and fun time during their time trapped in the house. I also love that there is a heavy emphasis on both consent and communication.
The book is told in duet narration by Grayson Owens (Nathan), Stella Hunter (Morgan), and Stephen Dexter (Fox), who all did a great job with the characters. Grayson Owens did a great job with Nathanโs more vulnerable moments, and I loved the deep and gruff voice Stephen Dexter used for Fox. It was very commanding.
I highly recommend this for a freaky, fun and festive holiday read or listen!

WOOOAH! THIS BOOK IS HOTTTT!! And begins with a bang! ๐ I loved every second of this book. From the spice to the tender vulnerable moments. This was my first Kayla Grosse book and I'm so hooked now! I'm so excited to go back and read her back log!
Fox and Morgan are childhood sweethearts married young living life in a peaceful small town. These two were so hot. Instantly you felt the chemistry between them. But as spicy as the scenes were between them, the tender scenes stole my heart! Morgan's ability to read Fox, her broody quiet man, and know exactly what he needs! And the way Fox was so sweet with her, willing to do anything to make her happy! And their nicknames!!! Kayla really leaned into them and it was so perfectly done.
Fox and Morgan weren't exactly looking to bring someone into their relationship, but fate brought Nathan to them. And the way the relationship unfolded between these three had me so hooked. I loved this book! And I was kinda appreciative when I saw how long it was and heard what it was about. But MY GOSH, I wasn't bored a single second listening to it. In fact I couldn't put it down and finished it in less than a day! Kayla nailed this snowed-in MMF! Nathan was the perfect addition to their relationship. He brought balance all three of them needed.
It must be mentioned.... the primal play in this book was fantastic!!! HOT HOT HOT!!

Narrated by Stella Hunter, Grayson Owens, and Stephen Dexter
Ahhh! I loved these three! They did such a fantastic job. The second that I found out they were the ones playing Fox, Nathan, and Morgan I knew I had to listen to this! Stella did such an incredible job playing Morgan. Playful, dominating, gentle, and witty, Stella brought out every side of Morgan perfectly. Grayson played Nathan. And holy hell, I loved every second. The way he brought out the way Nathan was waring with his feelings for these two and then how he just leaned into it. I ate it up!!! There couldn't have been a better Fox, Stephen with his deep voice was so perfect for Fox's commanding personality. But the way he brought out Fox's tender side was my absolute favorite! I HIGHLY recommend listening to this book! These three were perfect!

God I love this book. I love the narrators. A dream put into a reality. Kayla is a must read of mine, but she has outdone herself! Each character is swoon worthy.

I donโt think Iโve ever read anything quite like this. Even though it was insanely spicy and erotic, it was also incredibly intimate and sweet. I laughed, I cried, I nearly had a heat stroke. ๐ฅต๐ฅ I really didnโt expect this level of emotion from the synopsis, but what a wonderful treat it was.
Nathanโs story of self discovery was written so well! The vulnerability that his character showed was so refreshing to read. Fox and Morgan were a complex couple, yet so accommodating to Nathan and his journey. The honesty and adult conversations that were had in this book were incredible!
The audio is FANTASTIC! Grayson Owens, Stella Hunter, and Stephen Dexter were AMAZING as Nathan, Morgan and Fox! It is dual narration, and they all portrayed the characters with so much passion. It made for a remarkable listening experience!
This was my first Kayla Grosse book and it certainly wonโt be my last! I without a doubt would recommend this!!

Thank you NetGalley, Dreamscape Select and Kayla Grosse for giving me the opportunity to listen to this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

The audio performance was really good!!! I absolutely love Grayson Owens. I struggled a bit with the actual story, maybe it was just my mood.

This starts off with a kick with a little chase and that is just the beginning with this throuple. A holiday romance with snowed in naughtiness added to the mix and be ready because when the spice hits oh boy it gets hotter as the story of the lamb, fox and their wolf continues. Morgan, Fox and Nathan just hit from Nathan uncertain of what his feelings are with Morgan and Fox to Fox not wanting a broken heart and Morgan being the force that helped the three of them explore this instant attraction to something more. The audio was a fun listen and do recommend, the three narrators just elevate it. A good MMF story with lots of kinks and self discovery.

This was a sweet MMF polyamory, forced proximity romance.
Nate finds himself stranded in a snowstorm, and has to spend the next few days with a bubbly vixen and her tatted lumberjack husband. I really liked Nate and Fox's characters and their romance better than theirs with Morgan. I liked that Fox as a characters pushed against assumptions based on physical appearance. I would definitely read more by this author.
I don't always like a narration "cast", but this worked well for this book.

This book was SO GOOD, and another book I was lucky enough to get an ALC of right after I had read the e-book. (So you KNOW it's good when I'm reading it twice in one month!!)
I liked Morgan and Nathan, and I LOVED Fox. Fox was great in the e-book but Stephen Dexter as Fox in the audio was 10/10 perfection!!
This book includes:
-polyamorous logging couple (a Fox and his Little Lamb)
-a rescued man (who becomes their Wolf)
-sharing
-a steamy sauna scene
-sword crossing
-tattoos
The story was great and the spice was GREAT! And technically it's a christmas book so go pick this up now to get yourself in the mood. (The Christmas mood, I meant, sheesh!)
Story: 5/5
Spice: 4.5/5
Audio: 5/5

*ALC review* Wow, I already loved this book from reading it the first time, but this audiobook kicked my love up even more! Stella Hunter, Grayson Owens, and Stephen Dexter used their amazing talents to bring Morgan, Nathan, and Fox to life, and I don't think I can thank them enough for making me love these characters and their journey to their HEA even more the 2nd time around. The passion and emotions portrayed made each character that much more real and enhanced Kayla's words perfectly.

So deliciously spicy. Snowed in, MMF with the feelsโฆ.the fox, lamb and the wolf were so five alarm fire hot. More than just spicy though the story was drenched in self acceptance and finding where you belong and being ok with being who you are and I loved it. I never knew how badly I needed a lumberjack holiday romance until now. 4/5 stars!

I devoured this audiobook in one sitting! The fact that the female main character is 5โ10โ, curvy, and strongโTHANK YOU! So often, when a FMC is curvy, sheโs also short or not portrayed as strong. This book completely shatters that stereotype and more. It was a fun, easy, cozy, and spicy read. Although the book leans into themes found in darker genres, I honestly didnโt expect to describe a book with Primal as โcozyโโbut somehow, this one nails it! Itโs a Primal Cozy Lumbersnack bi-awakening holiday read, and I loved every minute of it.

ALC Review: Axes & O's by Kayla Grosse

This book was just so fun and such an escape, which is absolutely what I needed! It's an MMF, lumberjack, snowed in romance so if that's what you're looking for, look no further! It would be a great read to dissociate during the holidays to be honest - maybe stick a headphone in while dealing with your crazy family?? (listen this is erotica, so do that at your own risk...it's real hot)
It's kinky and hot and while all of the kink wasn't necessarily *for me*, it was fun to listen to. I really liked all three narrators who had super distinctive voices. In particular Stella Hunters narration for the male voices were super sexy! This is one I would definitely listen to again if I needed an escape.
Thank you to Dreamscape Select for the ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book yโall. I have read Kaylaโs work before so I was expecting a spicy timeโฆ but THAT? That wasโฆ next level.
Kayla has a real knack for for writing high-heat books with a massive dose of feels and growth too. I donโt know how she squeezes it all in every time, but she does! Itโs like she uses the spicy scenes to portray the growth and feelings rather than making them two separate things.
I loved this!
Edited to add audio notes:
The acting in this was SUPERB. I loved every minute of it!

This was a quick listen which was much needed at the time. I would recommend the book to someone who needs something light and for an easy listen. There is no big conflict which I was expecting to have happen at some point but it didnโt detract from how much I enjoyed the book. If youโre looking for a lot of plot and character building this wouldnโt be the book for you. Axes and Oโs was spicy and that was the main focus in the book so if you like spice pick this book up.
