Facts are sprinkled throughout with bits of wisdom and ideas on plants. The art is beautiful and unique, a mix of nature photographs and designs. This is a book ready for gift giving or being displayed on a coffee table. I enjoyed it very much!

It is primarily a collection of quotes, passages, and tidbits of information about plants. The quotes and pasages are moving and set on gorgeous photography.

This book is about plants but it is really a love letter to plant lovers.

The Generosity of Plants by Rosemary Gladstar is a beautiful book full of plant quotes and herbal wisdom from a galaxy of herbalism's elders and "all stars." We need this kind of wisdom so much right now, when healthcare is accessible and affordable to only a privileged few. The Generosity of Plants : Shared Wisdom from the Community of Herb Lovers is a beautiful book and would make a wonderful gift book for nature enthusiasts.
Although this is not what I thought I was requesting it turned out to be a beautiful surprise.
What a lovely wholesome, poetic and spiritual book. Full of wisdom filled quotes.

This is a beautiful book of quotes, photography, drawings, and reflections on nature from Rosemary Gladstar, a highly respected herbalist.

This would make a perfect coffee table or gift book for the nature/garden lovers in your life. It's one to come back to again and again.

It's organized by theme, with reflection questions throughout, but you can also open up the book to any page and enjoy what's there. I especially enjoyed the pages with different plants (violets, dandelion, nettles, etc.) and papers dyed to match their colors with a short description of their uses/meaning.

This is a sweet coffee table type of book full of beautiful photos and quotes about plants. I adore Rosemary Gladstar. She is the grandmother of herbalism and such an inspiration. Do keep in mind that this is more of a gift book to enjoy rather than an educational book like most of her herbal books.

The design, perhaps because this was an ARC, could have been more nuanced and fresh.

This is the kind of book you give someone who already has a deep love of plants and wants a better knowledge. The pictures were beautiful and overall I really enjoyed reading this.
